TMNT – Playmates Toys Donatello vs Shredder and Raphael vs Triceraton 2-Pack Images

Back in May, it was revealed that Playmates Toys would be reviving their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics line of 6″ figures as new 2-packs. The first sets revealed featured Leonardo vs Rocksteady, and Michelangelo vs Bebop. Now, thanks to The Falcon’s Hangar, we have our first look at the Donatello vs Shredder, and Raphael vs Triceraton 2-Packs. They have the sets listed for release in August. Walmart Collector Con Day 3 – MOTU Masterverse, TMNT Classics and More

Today is Walmart Collector Con Day 3 and there are several new items dropping. They take a bit to all get up and orderable, so check back as the morning moves forward. Based on the previews we should be getting ~~MOTU Origins~~, MOTU Masterverse, and TMNT Playmates 2 Packs which we saw overseas before. As the links pop and others drop, we’ll update here. Update – the MOTU Origins shadow was for MOTUWWE figs, and the MOTU Masterverse shadow was just for regular wave 1 retail, which is available elsewhere.

Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon Reissue

Another new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles listing has popped up from Australian toy shop Popcultcha. The latest item is a reissue of the classic TMNT Turtle Party Wagon “Mutant Attack Van”. The vehicle is scaled to work with the vintage and reissue TMNT figures from Playmates Toys. The vehicle is scheduled for release in July 2021 and is priced at $77.41 Australian Dollars (about $60 USD). Check out some images after the jump.

New Playmates TMNT 2 Packs Revealed

A while back we shared some new TMNT listings that had no pics and hadn’t officially been announced. They were for various 2 packs from Playmates. They still haven’t been officially announced, but we now have some pics :). Thanks to Toyark Forum Member jwyss234 via Australian retailer popcultcha.com we have looks at Leonardo vs. Rocksteady and Michelangelo vs. Bebop. These are using the Classic molds from years back in slightly tweaked colors.

They are retailing for $62 AUD, which is about $48 USD. ETA is August 2021.

Also listed but without pics – Donatello vs. Shredder and Raphael vs. Triceraton. This is interesting because Shredder and Triceratron never had Classic scale molds from Playmates. Stay tuned!

TMNT Out of the Shadows is dropping soon and Turtles merch is in full swing. Wal-Mart has a set of TMNT Classics repacks, this time featuring the 4 turtles “Inspired By” the 1991 sequel Secret of the Ooze. They have 3 new head sculpts each and new accessories specific to the movie. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze 6″ Classics Figures

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics Collection lives on! Forum member DVD over at the Technodrome forums shared a new pic. He has, in-hand, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze 6″ Classics Figures. Included are:

Raphael

These look to be repacks/repaints of the TMNT 1990 Classics Figures with a lot of new accessories. Each of the Turtles includes three additional interchangeable head sculpts! Click the image above to see the full photo.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro Figures Restocked at Toys R Us

So I spotted this at a Toys “R” Us yesterday. They had just finished restocking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro Figures. These are the reissues of the 80’s toys, which Playmates released last year, and had disappeared from shelves (for the most part) since Christmas.

After spotting this, I popped over to another nearby TRU and saw they had them as well. The assortment, though, appears to be a bit different. Both stores were only stocking the four Ninja Turtles. Missing in the wave were Shredder and Splinter, which were part of the release last year. UPDATE: According to foru member Phantomcrow, Krang and a Foot Soldier are part of this release. These were marked at $8.99 each.

TMNT Classic Collection Movie Turtles Photo Shoot

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Collection kicked off to a roaring start in 2012 with the release of the Classic Turtles upgraded toy wise for the modern era. We got really well done, large, highly poseable figures to match what’s been done with other 80s properties during their new millennium rebirth. In 2013, Playmates continued the line with the addition of Bebop and Rock Steady. All of them to that point were fantastic new versions of the characters.

It’s now 2014, and Playmates is rolling out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Editions. Using the first wave Turtles as a base, they’ve remolded and repainted the four, giving them new heads in the process. This was a fan request, the people wanted it, but it didn’t quite turn out as expected. Toys “R” Us SDCC 2014 Exclusives – Black Series, TMNT and More

Toys “R” Us has revealed the toys that they will have for San Diego Comic-Con 2014. These figures will be available, at San Diego Comic-Con, from Toyark sponsor Entertainment Earth at booth #2343.

This announcement also reveals that the previously reported Star Wars Black Series 6″ Cantina Showdown is in fact a Toys “R” Us SDCC 2014 Exclusive! We also now know that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics – 1990 Movie Turtles will be available for the first time at the show! Here’s the full list:
