Welcome to gallery 499! Tomorrow we hit 500 and hope you will tune in to check it out. The Heroes of the Storm toy line by NECA is a pretty big hit so far. They have released some really fantastic characters from the Blizzard Entertainment universe so far. None more popular than Tyrael and Arthas I’d say. It’s not surprising as the fan bases for both World of Warcraft and Diablo 3 are massive. While I skipped wave 1, I couldn’t pass up the fantastic choices for Wave 2. Toyark sponsor Entertainment Earth sent along the Heroes of the Storm Stitches Deluxe Figure for us to review. I also managed to finally find both Arthas and Tyrael to include in the photo shoot. After the jump, find my full review for Stitches as well as over 55 high resolution images.
I was able to stop off at the New Jersey Comic Expo today. NECA was displaying at the show for the first time, and promised a new reveal. What they revealed were the Cinemachines. I was able to talk with Stefan of NECA, who promised even more cool Cinemachines on the way. Those will be unveiled at Toy Fair. Also, they had a bunch of previously released items. A few of these newer items were on display as well:

It took seven long years of wrestling with Capcom, but NECA was finally able to release their Devil May Cry Dante figure. As you’ll notice, this is part of their Player Select line, and fits right in with some of their previous releases, like Castlevania. Packaged in a collector friendly flapped window box, Dante sports a ton of articulation and accessories.
NECA was kind enough to send along the Dante figure for a review. I have a full gallery and review. Read on to check those out. Be sure to check out all of our NECA Toy Galleries to catch up on anything you may have missed.
Check out some newly released photos of the NECA Devil May Cry – Dante Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure. The new images include packaging photos, revealing that this will be released under the “Player Select” line up. The packaging is also reminiscent of the recent classic video game releases, features a game packaging style window flap box. Dante will be roughly 7″ tall with over 35 points of articulation. The figure will come with his iconic pistols; Ebony and Ivory, his sword Alastor, a shotgun and swappable hands.

NECA and Kotaku have teamed up to reveal a new set of action figures. the new line is based on Heroes of the Storm; Blizzard’s Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) Game, which brings together characters from numerous Blizzard franchises. The article mentions these as 6″ scale, though I suspect these will actually be in NECA‘s standard 7″ scale. The toys themselves will debut in a few days at Toy Fair. the first wave will hit in Summer 2015, with Nova and Illidan coming as standard size figures, and Stitches coming as one of their Deluxe Size figures. NECA will be using in-game assets to create the figures.
