Wolverine ’74 Collector’s Gallery Statue – $159.99
The first appearance of the fan-favorite character Wolverine was in The Incredible Hulk #180-181 published in 1974. Then Marvel Editor-in-Chief Roy Thomas and writer Len Wein created Wolverine, and his original costume was designed by legendary artist and art director John Romita Sr. In his first appearance you can see the hints of what his costume would evolve into with his signature mask flairs, tiger strips and signature blue, yellow and red costume… and maybe just a hint of berserker rage in his eyes!
Gentle Giant celebrates almost 45 years of Wolverine with our newest 1:8th scale Collector’s Gallery Statue. The Wolverine ‘74 is the fourth statue in our popular Wolverine Collector’s Gallery series. With the introduction of the ’74 Wolverine to the series you get the full scope of his legacy starting at the very beginning as the character that is arguably the most popular Mutant in the Marvel Universe. The Wolverine ‘74 Collector’s Gallery statue comes with real metal claws, an attitude of “being the best at what he does” and is inspired by the cover art for Old Man Logan Vol. 2 #21. This Collector’s Gallery statue comes on a black, hexagon base with the Wolverine logo, and can fit together along side the other releases in the Wolverine statue line. The Wolverine ‘74 Collector’s Gallery Statue has been digitally sculpted and hand-painted by the amazing artisans of Gentle Giant Studios and every one comes hand numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
Gentle Giant has opened up pre-orders for the upcoming Star Wars Collector Gallery Statues. They include their Dengar and their Han Solo in Carbonite Statues. Dengar Collector’s Gallery Statue – $179.99
Dengar is an effective bounty hunter. While some hunters prided themselves on finesse and style, Dengar preferred firepower and destruction to capture his targets. Boba Fett enjoyed working with Dengar and held him in high regard due to his proven record of accomplishment in hunting down prey.
In Gentle Giant LTD’s newest Collector’s Gallery statue, we see a battle-hardened Dengar guarding a supply crate full of additional firepower with his trusty Valken-38 carbine rifle in hand. Hossing all of that heavy firepower from one end of the quadrant to the next has taken its toll but it has been worth it to establish his reputation as one of the best hunters in the galaxy. Dengar has seen it all and has lived to tell the tale; you can see every bounty etched into his face, every struggle to capture his prisoner scratched into his armor. He missed the bounty for Solo, but he has gone back to his armory to reload and he will get his next mark… dead or alive.
Dengar is the sixth statue in Bounty Hunter 1:8th Collector’s Gallery line celebrating over 40 years of the Star Wars universe. Each limited edition, hand-painted piece is layered in character detail and is cast in high quality polyresin with crisp, screen accurate details. This statue also comes individually numbered with a matching Certificate of Authenticity.
Carbon-freezing is an industrial process that encases highly pressurized gasses inside of solidified carbonite. In Cloud City Darth Vader sets a trap for young Luke Skywalker to be frozen and tests the process on his prisoner Han Solo. The smuggler turned hero survived the freezing process, in perfect hibernation, and Vader hands captain Solo over to the bounty hunter Boba Fett to take back to the gangster Jabba The Hutt.
Han Solo In Carbonite is the seventh statue in Bounty Hunter 1:8th Collector’s Gallery line celebrating over 40 years of the Star Wars universe. This accurate sculpture comes from scans of the actual carbonite block prop for the ultimate attention to detail. The Han Solo’s frozen, pained expression is perfectly captured in this carbonite block, with a base that matches the alcove where the frozen Han Solo hung as a prized possession in the Mighty Jabba’s palace. Bring Han home and he can be a prize in your collection too. Pre-Order now to complete your 1:8th scale bounty hunter collection, have as a stand-alone piece or make sure your Boba Fett collector’s gallery statue is not lonely. Each limited edition, hand-painted piece is cast in high quality polyresin with crisp details. This statue comes individually numbered with a matching Certificate of Authenticity.
For a limited time out Platinum PG members can get half off the Han Solo In Carbonite Collector’s Gallery Statue when they bundle their pre-order with the Dengar Collector’s Gallery Statue. Offer good through August 17th, 2018.

Much like a 1/6 scale figure, this release will feature a fabric outfit and cape over a fully articulated body. Supergirl will also be part of this line up, as are the previously revealed CW version of The Flash and Green Arrow.
The figure stands just under 9″ tall and has about 26 points of articulation. The Martian Manhunter includes two interchangeable portraits, multiple interchangeable hands, an assortment of flame effects pieces, and an articulated figure stand. Gentle Giant will be opening up their Premier Guild Memberships (aka PGM) for 2018 later today. As with previous years, there will be a selection of exclusive “gifts” that members will be able to choose from. Last year, they introduced tiers to the program, and the gift(s) you qualified for was dependent on the tier you joined. Last year, the lowest tier did not qualify for any of the gifts, while the highest tier offered the chance to get 2 of them (or 1 of the statues). That is likely to continue this year. Ahead of the memberships going live, they have revealed the items that will be available. This year, it looks like it’s all Star Wars, with nothing Marvel available for members to choose. Included are:
- Star Wars: A New Hope – Spacetrooper 1/6 Scale Mini Bust
- Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back – Princess Leia (Cloud City) 1/6 Scale Mini Bust
