S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball Super Zamasu – Premium Bandai USA Exclusive Gallery
Time for a look at the first Premium Bandai USA exclusive – Dragonball Super Zamasu. This is his base form, before he merged with Goku Black. Once they merged, a “Fused” Zamasu was born, and that is the version we got in S.H. Figuarts last year. With this exclusive, the shelf trinity is complete, allowing us to have all the forms for the evil Kai. As a figure, it’s a pretty tame release – 3 sets of hands, 4 faces. No accessories. Sculpt and engineering wise it’s very similar to the retail Fused Zamasu (aside from the heads), with the addition of a sash on his lower half. While nothing pops out making this release epic by itself, it is a core character and look from Dragonball Super and a welcome addition to the line.
As we mentioned, this was a Premium Bandai exclusive, but those are only open via pre-order for a set period of time. If you are looking to pick him up now, you’ll have to hit retailers with mark up or eBay. Make sure to grab any you dig when they are being offered for pre-order, otherwise you’ll be paying later on. Currently Burter and Guldo are open.

SSGSS Vegito V2 – Premium Bandai S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Super Gallery
Next up in our year end looks at recent S.H. Figuarts Dragonball releases is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito. This was a Premium Bandai exclusive, the first along with Zamasu to be offered that way in the USA. This is actually the second release for the character in this look – the first was a repaint of the Buu Saga Vegito as a SDCC exclusive. This go around we get modern technology on the body with double jointed knees, hip area upgrades, ab cuts. The energy beam is similar but upgraded as well, and has an attachment to work with Zamasu. An energy ball with peg that pops into a special hand allows for him to hold it hover style, which is a nice add. After that, it’s standard SHF Goku-esque fare with multiple hands and faces.
All in all it’s a solid figure and lets more of the masses get a hold of a key character from the DB Super line up.

S.H. Figuarts Final Battle Jiren Gallery
Rounding out the year with some more S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball galleries! Today’s set is for Final Battle Jiren – the big bad from the last stretch of Dragonball Super, and his final form at that. He’s significantly beefed up, shirtless and comes with some expressive faces. A single energy ball and 4 sets of hands total round out the package. In all I like this one better than the standard Jiren, mainly because they ditched the raw shiny plastic. Everything has a matte application, even the black pants, and feels overall higher in quality. Paired up with Ultra Instinct Goku, it’s a great rep of the series on a shelf.
Read on to check out some shots showing what he can do. He’s out now and comes courtesy of TheToySource!

S.H. Figuarts Great Ape Vegeta Gallery
Bear witness to the ultimate power of the Saiyans Kakarot! The Giant Ape, destroyer of planets! Today we are taking a look at the biggest S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball figure to date – Great Ape Vegeta! This is a giant, heavy, beautiful hunk of plastic. It’s not in scale, as that would be about the size of a small child, but it is quite big for Figuarts. Coming in at 12.7 inches, he towers over other SHF. And he keeps his proportions, articulation, and overall quality. Technically Shenron could be argued bigger, but he was a much skinnier and overall had less mass, so I think Vegeta here takes the crown.
He comes packed with 3 alternate hands, a set of hands gripping a tiny Goku, tail, tail stub, alternate face plate, Yajirobe with sword, and a stand for it all. Yajirobe can be attached to the stand so you can recreate the tail cut scene.
All in all it’s a great centerpiece for the Saiyan saga figures, surrounding him with them makes a great display. If you have the space and the coin, definitely worth a pick up. Read on to check out our in hand shots of him courtesy of TheToySource!

Captain Ginyu S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z Gallery
STRIKE A POSE! Captain Ginyu is on the scene and ready to let everyone know the power of the GINYU FORCE! This is the first S.H. Figuarts release towards a complete team from the Frieza Saga of Dragonball Z. Recoome, Burter, Guldo, and Jeice are all coming in one way or another down the line. He stands tall, roughly about the size of Nappa, but has an increased range of articulation. Many of his iconic and silly poses can be achieved due to this, which is awesome. Pack ins are solid with 4 extra sets of hands, 3 extra heads, damaged chest plate and a Namekian Dragonball. All in all it is another great release, filling in core cast from the Z sagas. Once the team is assembled, it will be a great nook on the shelf. We’ve run him through a set so read on to check out pics courtesy of TheToySource!
