NECA Halloween 3 Set 002

New photos have been shared by NECA for their upcoming Halloween 3: Season of the Witch 8″ Scale Cloth Action Figure 3-Pack. The new images give us our first look at the final packaged set. The retro clothed style figures are based on the trick or treaters wearing the horrific masks of the Silver shamrock company. They will include trick or treat bags, two masks per kid, swap out hands, and a TV with a lenticular effect. The set finally begins shipping to retailers later this month. “It’s almost time, kids! The clock is ticking!” From Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, this set of clothed action figures includes the three iconic trick or treaters from the 1982 horror movie.

Each is dressed for a night of fun and each comes with two interchangeable heads: one in the distinctive Silver Shamrock mask and one displaying the effects of the triggered mask. These articulated figures stand approximately 6″ tall and also come with trick or treat bags and a TV set accessory with lenticular effect.

NECA Candyman Clothed Figure 027

The original Candyman film was released in 1992. It was based on a story by Clive Barker called “The Forbidden”. The film follows a grad student named Helen Lyle, played by Virginia Madsen, researching urban myths. One that catches her attention is the story of Candyman. Legend says that if you say his name five times in a mirror, he will appear and kill the one who summoned him, using a hook on the stump of his right hand. As she investigates, she exposes a group of thugs using the legend of Candyman to silence their victims. Thinking the worst is over, she is confronted by the true Candyman, played by Tony Todd, who begs her to become his victim, so that the legend can live on.

NECA has released a new 8″ scale clothed figure of Candyman. The figure itself is based on the second film in the trilogy, Farewell To the Flesh. It includes a fabric coat, interchangeable portraits, and a removable rotting chest. I picked up the figure from sponsor Entertainment Earth. Jaws NECA Figures

One of NECA‘s biggest surprises from Toy Fair 2020 was the unveiling of two figures from Jaws. The classic film about a great white shark terrorizing the small Summer town of Amity Island helped launch Steven Spielberg’s career. For a time, the film was the highest grossing movie of all-time, until a little sci-fi film and took the crown. The new figures from NECA feature both Martin Brody, Amity Island’s Police Chief, as well as Sam Quint, captain of the Orca. The figures will eventually be accompanied by a great white shark, which will release later in the year. Quint and Brody are due for release in September. Check out photos after the jump.

For the first time in the movie’s 45 year history, NECA is happy to announce a brand new 8″ Clothed figure featuring the licensed likeness of Robert Shaw as Sam Quint from the 1975 classic. Standing at 8″ tall, the seasoned shark hunter is equipped with screen accurate accessories and tailored clothing.

Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year.

NECA Scream 8 Inch Ghostface 008

Ghostface makes his return to the 8″ retro line, as NECA has announced a new version at Toy Fair 2020. They have also revealed that an Ultimate 7″ Scale version is in the works. Details are coming soon for that. NECA shared the product details for the 8″ version. The Scream – Ghostface 8″ Scale Clothed Figure includes a fabric outfit, an interchangeable hand, a knife, a cellphone, and a walkie talkie. Look for the figure to be released in July.

“Do you like scary movies, Sidney?” Making a return to the 8″ Clothed format is Ghostface from the Scream Movies!

Ghostface stands 8″ tall and is fully poseable, with a tailored robe, hood and sleeves modeled after the real life #Ghostface costume. He features a screen-accurate sculpted mask, interchangeable hands, and comes complete with his signature knife.

NECA Vicotr Crowley 007

At Toy Fair 2020, a figure based on Victor Crowley from the slasher movie Hatchet was revealed by NECA. They have released official photos and details for the upcoming figure. The Victor Crowley 8″ Scale Clothed Figure includes an axe and a belt sander. It uses synthetic hair as well. It’s due for release in August.

“If you get close enough to the Crowley house at night you can still hear Victor Crowley crying for his daddy in the woods..”

After years roaming the swamps of New Orleans and claiming victims, the supernatural slasher and main antagonist of the Hatchet series, Victor Crowley makes his action figure debut in NECA’s 8″ Clothed figure line.

His gruesome head sculpt features rooted hair and the axe wound left by his father. Standing at approximately 8″ tall, Victor Crowley wears his battered overalls made with real fabric and is equipped with a belt sander, and double sided axe.

NECA They Live Nada 007

Late last year, NECA released a fantastic They Live 2-Pack, featuring a male and female ghoul. At Toy Fair 2020, they revealed that John Nada, one of the hero’s played by the late, great Rowdy Roddy Piper, is getting his own figure. NECA has released official images and details for their They Live – John Nada 8″ Scale Clothed Figure. The figure includes sunglasses, a pistol, and a shotgun. It’s due for release in July.

He’s here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and he’s all out of bubblegum.

For the first time ever in action figure form, John Nada as portrayed by “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in John Carpenter’s They Live will be released in the 8″ Clothed action figure format. A perfect complement to the previously released 2-pack, Nada comes with an accessory shotgun and pistol, dressed in a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and special sunglasses to see right through the aliens’ disguise.

NECA Night of the Demons Set 029

When Scream Factory announced their Night Of The Demons – Deluxe Limited Edition Steelbook in 2018, they revealed that they worked with NECA to create an exclusive figure on Angela, one of the central characters of the film. After the success of that release, Scream Factory teamed up with NECA again to create a new limited edition release from the movie. The Night of the Demons 2-Pack features 8″ scale clothed figures of Suzanne, aka Suzy and Stooge. In the movie, ten teenagers throw a Halloween party at an abandoned funeral parlor. The teens perform a seance that awakens demonic forces, which begins taking them over one-by-one. It’s not one of my personal favorites, but the film definitely has a following.

Shady Acres Ace Ventura 003

Quickly after a preview image was shown, NECA has fully revealed their second Ace Ventura release. The new Ace Ventura Shady Acres 8″ Scale Figure is set for release this June. The figure includes a cloth outfit, two new head sculpts, and Wiggles the Yorkshire Terrier. Check out product details below, and the new photos after the jump.

From the 1994 comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, this clothed action figure is based on Jim Carrey’s appearance as he goes undercover at Shady Acres to investigate the mysterious Ray Finkle.

Ever-stylish, Ace is dressed in a short sleeve button up, plaid shorts, and a tutu, standing 8″ tall and is fully articulated. Additional contents include 2 brand new head sculpts and an accessory of Wiggles, the Yorkshire terrier.
