NECA Richard Simmons Packaging 001

New in-packaging photos have been shared by NECA for their upcoming Richard Simmons 8″ Scale Retro Clothed Figure. The iconic 80’s personality brought fitness to the masses with his “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” video cassettes. The new figure features a fabric outfit, and two interchangeable portraits. the figure is set to ship out to retailers in December. Check out the new photos after the jump.

Known for the Sweatin’ to the Oldies workout videos, Richard Simmons is here to give your action figures a workout by joining NECA’s 8″ Clothed line. Sporting real fabric athletic shorts and a tank top, the famous aerobics instructor stands approximately 8″ tall and comes with interchangeable heads.

NECA Halloween II Set 027

In 1981, a sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloween was released in theaters. The film picks up moments after the end of the original film. Michael Myers, having been shot multiple times, escapes into the cover of darkness as the horrors of the night become known to the town of Haddonfield. an injured Laurie Strode is sent to a hospital to recover from her battle with a killer who would turn out to be her brother. In the films final battle, Laurie Strode and Dr. Loomis team up to take down Michael Myers as he rampages through Haddonfield Hospital.

The new 2-pack from NECA Toys features 8″ scale clothed versions of Laurie Strode (in her hospital gown) and Dr. Samuel Loomis. The set is a companion piece to the previously release Halloween II Michael Myers 8″ Figure. Our friends at NECA have sent over the Halloween II 2-Pack to check out. NECA Halloween 2 Lurie and Loomis Packaging 001

NECA has released final packaged photos for their upcoming Halloween 2 – Doctor Loomis and Laurie Strode 8″ Scale Figure 2-Pack. The set features Laurie and Loomis from the final scenes of Halloween 2, as the battle Michael Myers in the hospital. Each includes a pistol, and interchangeable hand, and a Halloween 2 pumpkin from the opening credits. Look for these figures to hit early next month. You can see the photos after the jump.

Based on their appearance in the classic 1981 sequel, each figure stands approximately 8″ tall. They come complete with pistols, an interchangeable hand, and a pumpkin based on the movie poster artwork. Figures are highly detailed and fully poseable featuring the authorized likenesses of Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Window box packaging recreates the look of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital.

NECA They Live Frank Figure 004

Shout Factory has opened up pre-orders for their exclusive Frank Armitage 8″ Scale Retro Clothed Figure from the movie They Live. The figure is available as a stand alone release, or as a bundle with the film. The Frank figure features the authorized likeness of actor Keith David. It includes a fabric outfit, a pair of sunglasses, and two guns. It’s limited to just 4,000 pieces and is priced at $39.99 for the stand alone figure. Look for it to be released in December. NECA They Live Frank Preview

The great Keith David has appeared in films like John Carpenter’s The Thing, and They Live. He’s been the voice of Spawn, was Goliath from Gargoyles, and had many other memorable roles. He has shared a first look at his Frank Armitage figure from They Live, which is being produced by NECA. The figure is an 8″ scale retro clothed figure, and will join the upcoming John Nada figure. NECA Retro Ghostface Figure 015

In the Scream film franchise, the Ghost Face persona is shown with a haunting white mask and a Halloween costume cloak. Ghost Face’s look can be easily imitated by anyone. This allows the killers to change from film to film, revealing themselves only when they feel their plan to kill Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is announced to the audience. The new 8″ scale Ghost Face figure from NECA pays homage to the character’s appearance from the entire franchise, as opposed to a single film. The figure is an updated version of the 8″ scale Ghost Face that was released back in 2014. The figure includes a fabric outfit, a knife, a voice changer, and a swap out right hand.

Ghostface 8 Inch Figure Packaging 001

NECA has released final packaging images for their upcoming Scream – Ghost Face 8″ Scale Clothed Figure. The figure ships out to retailers next week and should hit stores by the end of the month. The figure has a fabric outfit, an interchangeable hand, a knife, a cellphone, and a walkie talkie. Look for the figure to be released in July.

Ghostface stands 8″ tall and is fully poseable, with a tailored robe, hood and sleeves modeled after the real life #Ghostface costume. He features a screen-accurate sculpted mask, interchangeable hands, and comes complete with his signature knife.

NECA Annabelle Clothed Figure 013

NECA has announced The Conjuring Universe – Annabelle 8″ Scale Clothed Figure. This release features a 6″ tall Annabelle figure with two swap out portraits, a “Miss Me” note, and window box packaging that will resemble her glass case. It’s due for release in February 2021. Annabelle, the haunted conduit for demons to carry out their malevolent acts, is the newest release in the 8″ Clothed action figure line.

This possessed doll is fully poseable, donning a soft goods white dress and red rose belt. She comes with 2 interchangeable heads featuring a standard expression and a tattered, cracked portrait.

Comes in window box packaging resembling her protective display case. Out of box collectors beware!

NECA has announced a new version of their retro clothed figure of The Fiend. Their latest take on The Misfits mascot is The Holiday Fiend 8″ Scale Clothed Figure. The figure is scheduled for release in November. Check out the new photos after the jump.

NECA Richard Simmons

In a surprise announcement, NECA Toys has revealed a new figure based on 80’s icon Richard Simmons. For readers who may be a bit younger, Richard Simmons was an insanely popular fitness instructor in the early to mid 1980’s. Known for his “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” video cassettes, Simmons used his incredibly energetic personality, and willingness to listen to those in need, to motivate people to stay fit. He appeared not only on every major talk show, but had numerous guest spots on popular TV series, animated series, and game shows.

The new figure from NECA is part of their 8″ scale retro clothed figure line. as of right now, there are few details. The Richard Simmons figure will have two interchangeable portraits, and is due for release in the Fall. We’ll update as more details are made available. You can see the photo after the jump.
