Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mecha by Snap Design and Heat Boys
Over the weekend, at an exhibition in China, a new series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures were revealed. The new TMNT Mecha Figures are being produced by a collaboration between two companies called Snap Design Development and Heat Boys. Fans may remember Snap Design as DreamEX, who produced a series of really nice looking TMNT 1/6 Scale Figures a few years back.
The new TMNT Mecha Figures are officially licensed releases. New images have been posted by Snap Design on their Weibo page. They look to be roughly 1/6 scale figures, but exact size of the figures wasn’t revealed at the time of this writing. UPDATE: The Leonardo is about 9″ tall, with the Shredder expected to be a little over 8.5″ tall. An unpainted prototype for Leonardo was on display, as well as art card for Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Shredder. There isn’t much information available at this time. We’ll keep an eye out for updates, and share any news we see. You can see the photos, and a closer look at the art, after the jump.
