The Cyborg Ninja is introduced in the PlayStation 1 video game Metal Gear Solid, initially as a boss character. However, as the game progresses, it is revealed that he is Gray Fox, a former ally of Solid Snake originally introduced in the original Metal Gear video game. The Cyborg Ninja disappears after his encounter with Snake, but secretly offers advice under the code name Deepthroat. He re-emerges at the end of Metal Gear Solid, attempting to help Solid Snake in his fight against Metal Gear REX. The character has had a large fan following ever since he was introduced. He featured a slick cybernetic design coupled with is lengthy blade and arm mounted rail gun. the character has seen numerous collectible releases over the years, including statues and action figures.

Gecco has announced a companion piece to their ongoing Dark Souls Statue line. They will be releasing a Dark Souls 3 – 1/6 Scale Bonfire Statue. The bonfire includes a light up LED feature. By inserting the coiled sword into the flames, it activates a flickering LED light. The statue is priced at $99.99, with a release scheduled for late Summer. It will be available from Diamond comics and Sideshow in North America. See the photos by clicking the headline of the story.
The Bonfire holds many sacred and important meanings in the Dark Souls series. We are excited to present this monumental fire as a 1/6 scale statue. No detail was left uncaptured.
The burnt bones buried in ashes and the coiled sword were traditionally sculpted in clay by Shinya Akao. The complex surging flame was digitally sculpted by YU-KI.
As a surprising feature, the flame is lit by inserting the coiled sword into the earth just like in the video game scene. The details really shine from within, lighted by a special flickering LED.
The bonfire statue displays beautifully as a stand alone piece but also creates an impressive display next to other Dark Souls 1/6 scale statues. The perfect addition to your 1/6 scale Dark Souls statue collection.

Our friends at Gecco have shared with us some high resolution images their upcoming GANTZ:O Reika 1/6 Scale Statue. These new photos show off their first factory sample, and changes are still being made to refine the statue before release. Like the newly revealed Hard Suit/Hachiro Oka, this is based on the CG Animated film adaptation of the GANTZ manga, which featured a more realistic looking take on the human characters. In the animated film, a group of people are resurrected after dying, and forced to fight against horrific monsters. As they fight, they earn points, which can be used to upgrade their weaponry, resurrect fallen allies, or to be freed from the game. Here are some notes Gecco sent along about the sample:
– The face is made of PVC, which is the same material as the actual mass product. Since PVC is good material to recreate real human skin, the condition got close to the 3DCG film.
– The very tiny texture on the GANTZ Suit are faithfully captured at mass production level. Nothing is omitted.
– The weapons are sharply recreated from steal mold. Enjoy the contrast between the soft feminine atmosphere and the cool insane weapons.
– This is very 1st factory sample, and there are still lots of room for improving. Better quality can be expected in the actual product condition.
Gecco has shared photos and details for their upcoming GANTZ:O – Hard Suit/Hachiro Oka 1/6 Scale Statue. This statue will join the previously revealed Reika Statue, which is scheduled for release in the Spring. In the CG animated film, a group of people are resurrected after dying, and forced to fight against horrific monsters. As they fight, they earn points, which can be used to upgrade their weaponry, resurrect fallen allies, or to be freed from the game. Hachiro Oka is the most skilled fighter on the “Osaka Team”, whose armor has been fully upgraded after scoring 100 points in seven consecutive fights.
The statue includes a themed base, a removable face plate, and two swords that attach to the elbows of the armor. Hachiro Oka stands about 16.5″ tall, with the blades attached, the statue is over 22″ tall! It will be priced at $1,099, with pre-orders eventually available via Sideshow and Diamond Comics. See more details and the new photos after the jump.
Gecco has posted up photos and info for their new Dark Souls – Black Knight 1/6 Scale Statue. In the game, Black Knights are unique enemies that do not respawn (except at the Kiln of the First Flame). Formerly Silver Knights serving Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight, the knights were charred black in battle near the Kiln of the First Flame. When Gwyn united the First Flame, the knights were burned to ashes, destined to roam the land as spirits.
The Black Knight statue will stand over 16″ tall. It will feature light up LED eyes and includes a themed base. The statue will have a pre-order bonus that includes three additional weapons. Those are the Greatsword, Greataxe and Halberd. Sideshow and Diamond Comics will both distribute the statue in the US. It’s priced at $469.99 with a release set for Summer 2019. See the photos and additional details after the jump.
