Figure Toy Company has announced a delay in their release of Batman Retro Series 1 figures. The figures, based on the Classic Batman TV Series, will feature 8″ figures in the style of the classic Mego figures of the 70’s. Right now, the figures have been delayed until the 4th quarter of 2013.

Series 1 is set to include Batman, Robin, The Riddler and The Joker. Future releases will include The Penguin, Catwoman, Bruce Wayne, Batgirl and Dick Grayson. Also available is a collectors case featuring art and photos of the figures.

Big Bad Toy Store has put up a pre-order for the Batman 8″ Retro Action Figures Series 2, which are style after the classic Mego toys of the 70’s. Series 2 is due out out in August. It includes the following characters:

• Penguin
• Catwoman
• Bruce Wayne
• Dick Grayson
