z DST Sept 2021 Releases

Today, the latest assortment of pre-orders from Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant have been released. This month there are collectibles from Star Wars, Marvel, The Lord of the Rings, Sonic The Hedgehog, and GI Joe. These items are due for release in September 2021. Lord of the Rings Uruk Hai Berserker DX 001

Prime 1 Studio has posted the product pages for their upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – Uruk-Hai Berserker 1/4 Scale Statue. The statue stands at 37″ tall on a diorama base, complete with banner, modeled after the Battle of Helms Deep. The Uruk-Hai Berserker stands with his sword raised in victory, and arrows sticking out of his body. Prime 1 Studio is also offering a Deluxe Edition with a number of swap out parts. The Deluxe Edition includes both a helmeted and unhelemeted portraits, a left arm, a swap out left arm holding a sword, a right arm holding a sword, and a swap out right arm holding a severed head.

The Standard Edition is priced at $899. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $1,099. Optional payment plans are available. The statue is due for release between December 2021 and March 2022. Pre-orders begin Thursday, September 3rd. You can see photos and details by reading on.

The Weta Workshop booth was jam packed with fantasy goodness. Fans lookign forward to the Warcraft movie can get a look at the props and costumes being used. Also on display is the always welcome Lord of the Rings and Hobbit collectibles. They never disappoint with the breadth of collectibles for Middle Earth fans. They were showing Chappie, Giant Killer Robots and other collectibles as well.
