McFarlane Toys continue the onslaught of pre-orders tonight with more DC Multiverse offerings. This go round has two new Batman figures, both from the recent Future State story arcs.
Future State is what happened after the Dark Nights Death Metal soft reset. They told stories in the future of the DC Universe, but not necessarily that far ahead where our core heroes would be gone. After it was done, it then reverted back to Infinite Frontier aka “Current Timeline”. So Future State could/will happen, just later. We got a peek into the future.
These Batman(s) give us the Dark Detective – aka the Bruce Wayne we know as seen in these future stories and The Next Batman, which is who picked up the mantle for Bruce Wayne while he was out of commission.
