z NECA July 2021 General Preorders

The limited exclusivity is up for a few of the NECA items that hit stores last month, and pre-orders are now live for those figures. The Boys Series 1 NECA 046

In the Amazon TV Series known as The Boys, a dysfunctional group of nobodies band together to take on a powerful organization known a Vought International and their super hero team known as The Seven. The super powered group are led by Homelander, a homicidal egomaniac who is nearly indestructible. He uses the remaining members of The Seven as his personal pawns, and violently punishes anyone who gets in his way. The show is an adaptation of the comic series created by writer by Garth Ennis and illustrator Darick Robertson.

Later this month, the first two The Boys figures by NECA Toys will hit shelves. Homelander and Starlight will initially be available at Walmart for a 30 day period, and then will make their way to other retailers. The two 7″ scale Ultimate Figures will officially be released for Father’s Day weekend (June 20th), but we have an advanced in-hand look at the two new figures. z Fathers Day 2021 NECA

A slew of new NECA releases are scheduled to hit Target and Walmart stores for Father’s Day. NECA has shared the news via their Instagram page. These items will be available at those stores for the first 30 days of their release, and then will be available via regular retail outlets after that. These are NOT exclusives, they are simply first available at either Target or Walmart before being available elsewhere. Included are:

The Boys Preview by NECA

NECA has shared a couple of preview photos, giving us our first look at their first action figures based on the amazon TV Series “The Boys“. The preview photos show off 7” scale figures of both Homelander and Starlight. The show follows a mismatched group of people attempting to take on The Seven, a group of superheroes that have far more in common with the villains they claim to be against. Homelander, the leader of The Seven, is the main antagonist of the show. Starlight, the newest member of The Seven, quickly realizes that the superhero team is not what she expected.
