At NECA’s Toy Fair 2016 Booth, we got our first look at the fantastic Predator Series 16 lineup as well as the Deluxe Clan Leader Predator. These figure are all inspired by Kenner’s classic Predator series from the 1990’s. These figures are scheduled for release in June. Here’s more info from NECA:
Predator – 7″ Scale Action Figures – Series 16
The 16th series of our longest running figure collection is an homage to the classic Kenner Expanded Universe Predators of the early 1990s!
Series 16 includes Spiked Tail, Stalker and Ghost. Taking inspiration from those designs, our team has applied modern sculpting, detail and articulation to upgrade these vintage Predators for the new millennium. Each Predator comes with character-specific accessories, removable masks, and Stalker glows in the dark just as the original figure did! These highly detailed figures stand approximately 8″ tall and feature nearly 30 points of articulation.
The special blister card packaging is an homage to the classic card art as well, featuring custom illustrations and a color palette that ties back to the toy shelves of the early ’90s.
Predator – 7″ Scale Action Figure – Deluxe Clan Leader
Our newest Predator Deluxe Action Figure is an homage to a figure that was also a deluxe release in the classic Kenner Expanded Universe line: Clan Leader!
Taking inspiration from the 1990s designs, our team has applied modern sculpting, detail and articulation to bring this vintage Predator into the new millennium, resulting in our most complex Predator figure yet. And at 8.5” tall, he’s also the biggest figure in the 7” scale Predator line to date – bigger even than the previous Bad Blood Deluxe Action Figure. Clan Leader has over 30 points of articulation and comes with spectacular bendable tentacles that can attach to his shoulders or his wrists, plus a removable helmet and a unique staff.
The Deluxe blister card packaging is a nod to the classic line as well, featuring custom illustrations and a color palette that ties back to the toy shelves of the early ’90s.
