Two new Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines 7″ Scale Figures have been announced by Bandai. The new figures include the Imperial Fists and Salamanders Space Marines. The figures were revealed by the Warhammer Community. Each figure stand about 8″ tall, and have over 53 points of articulation. they will include interchangeable hands, and weapons. Pre-orders go live September 12th via Games Workshop, and will remain open for one week. The Primaris Intercessor Action Figure was priced at $100 when it went up for pre-order last year, so these will probably be around that price as well. The Imperial Fists action figure represents a Primaris battle-brother from the sixth squad of the Chapter’s Third Company. He is armed with an auto bolt rifle that’s fitted with an auxiliary grenade launcher, and he also comes with a combat knife. He has three choices of hand for each arm, allowing you to pose him in a wide variety of ways as he defends the walls of Terra (or, you know, your bookcases).

His cousin from the Salamanders is armed with an ornate bolt rifle inspired by a design in Codex Supplement: Salamanders. His markings show that he belongs to the second squad of Second Company, and like the Imperial Fists figure, he comes with a combat knife and a variety of hands to hold the weapons in. Just keep him away from candles – you know what Salamanders are like with fire.

Both action figures stand an impressive 8” tall and are massively poseable, with 53 points of articulation – each leg alone has 12! You’ll be able to have them standing any way you please… if you take them out of the box, that is!

Last month, we got our first look at the fully painted Warhammer 40,000 Primaris Intercessor 7″ Scale Action Figure by Bandai. The figure will stand at 8″ tall, feature over 50 points of articulation, and will include a Bolt Rifle. Games Workshop has opened up pre-orders for the figure. The Primaris Intercessor Action Figure will be limited to no more than 9,000 pieces. The figure is a made-to-order release, and will not be available once pre-orders close. Warhammer 40,000 Primaris Intercessor Space Marine Action Figure

This first of its kind action figure depicts an Ultramarines Primaris Intercessor – a brother of the 2nd Company, assigned to the 3rd Battleline Squad. This 8” figure is cast and assembled with the exceptional quality you’ve come to expect from Bandai, and painted to a very high standard with accurate markings and heraldry. He’s armed with a holy bolt rifle and vicious combat blade, including swappable, alternate open hands. This figure also comes complete with a display box that’s impressive in its own right, if you prefer to show it off with the seal intact.

Earlier this year, Bandai America announced plans for a line of Warhammer 40,000 Action Figures. At the time, we had only see the unpainted prototype of the unnamed Space Marine. Today, Games Workshop has updated their Warhammer Community site with the first official photos and details for the Primaris Intercessor 7″ Scale Action Figure. While in the 7″ scale, the massive armor has the space marine standing about 8″ tall. The figure will feature over 50 points of articulation, and will include a Bolt Rifle. Games Workshop has announced a new worldwide licensing partnership with Bandai, which will see a new line of 7″ scale action figures based on Warhammer 40,000. The first figure revealed is a Primaris Space Marine, which will be full articulated, and will feature a number of weapons. Games Workshop has shared a 3D render of the figure, and have had an unpainted prototype on display at the Shizuoka Hobby Show and the Warhammer Fest UK.

Today, we can show you some of the initial designs for the first-ever Warhammer 40,000 action figure! It’s a fully painted, 7-inch-tall Primaris Space Marine, featuring multiple points of articulation, exchangeable weapons, and all sorts of other cool details, brought to life on a new scale.

Bandai are, of course, world experts when it comes to action figures like this. Their team have been working directly with the miniatures designers in the Warhammer Studio, including the father of modern Space Marine design, Jes Goodwin,* to ensure that this action figure is a faithful replica of a Primaris Space Marine in Mark X Tacticus armour, every inch true to the lore of Warhammer 40,000.

We think it’s looking amazing, and we can’t wait to get one on our desk – posing him in a suitably heroic poses while we practice making the noise of a tiny boltgun firing.**
