MOTU Masterverse Wave 1 In Hand 1

Masters of the Universe Masterverse is Mattel’s new collector focused 7 inch scale line of figures.  We took a look at them last month.  They began hitting big box retailers soon after.  Now they are hitting general pre-order status at multiple stores.  If you are looking to jump into the line, waves 1 and 2 are available now.  No pics yet for wave 2 though.  Wave 1 standard figs are set to ship in August 2021, with Skelegod, Battle Cat and wave 2 set for September 2021 (estimated dates). MOTU Masterverse He Man Grayskull

I need a HER-O! I can’t get that song out of my head after watching the trailer for Netflix’s Masters of the Universe Revelation series about 20 times. Fitting because yesterday Mattel landed a box of goodies here with all of the Wave 1 Masterverse figures!  This is Mattel’s new collector line for He-Man, an all encompassing line of 7 inch figures at retail stores which will eventually touch multiple different eras of the MOTU lore.  It is starting out with figures for Revelation since the series is about to drop.   Included in wave 1 is He-Man, Battle Cat, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Moss Man, and the new Skelegod – a powered up version of Skeletor.

z MOTU Masterverse Revelation 003

Masters of the Universe: Revelation, a new series continuing the story of the original Masters of the Universe series, premieres on Netflix on July 23rd. The new series was created by Kevin Smith. If you missed the trailer, you can check it out Here. Mattel is releasing a new series of action figures based on the series as part of the Masterverse 7″ scale figure line. We saw the first wave back in May (check out the photos by Clicking Here), and now the first pre-orders are starting to go live, and they give us a list of who will be included with Wave 2. The First Wave is due out in July 2021, while Wave 2 is set for release in October 2021. The Masters of the Universe Masterverse Revelation figures include:

Wave 1

  • He-Man
  • Skeletor
  • Evil-Lyn
  • Moss Man
  • Skelegod
  • Battle Cat

Wave 2 (No photos)

  • Man-at-Arms

Mattel has sent out a press release with details and lots of new photos for their upcoming figures based on Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe show for Netflix. Part of the “Masterverse” line of figures, the Masters of the Universe: Revelation figures features all-new 7″ scale designs with about 30 points of articulation. The first wave of figures will debut on June 15th, with a second assortment debuting in the Fall. The first assortment features:

  • He-Man
  • Skeletor
  • Moss Man
  • Evil-Lyn
  • Skelegod
  • Battle Cat
