Sideshow Fri SDCC 2020

Starting today, Sideshow is running their San Diego Comic-Con 2020 alternative, which they are calling Sideshow Con 2020. Over the course of the next week, they will be revealing new items from Sideshow, Hot Toys, Iron Studios and more. In this post, we will pull together all of their “Coming Soon” previews from the event over the coming week. Sideshow Silver Surfer Statue 018

Pre-orders have been opened by Sideshow Collectibles for their new Marvel Comics – Silver Surfer Maquette. The statue will stand over 25″ tall, as Norrin Radd stands on his cosmic surf board. The statue is cast in Polyresin. Both a Standard Collector Edition and a Sideshow Exclusive Edition will be available. The Collector Edition is priced at $600. The Sideshow Exclusive Edition will include a bust of Nova (Frankie Raye), which is meant to be displayed alongside the Silver Surfer. The Exclusive Version is priced at $630.

Look for the Silver Surfer Maquette to be released between February and April of 2021. Optional payment plans are available. See photos, details, and the pre-order link by reading on.

The Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Silver Surfer 6″ Scale Figure is listed as “In Stock” on the Walgreens website. Fans can order the figure by Clicking Here. The figure is priced at $19.99 and arrives within 1 to 3 business days. The figure includes interchangeable hands, effects pieces and a surfboard.

A metallic-skinned humanoid from the planet Zenn-La, the Silver Surfer gets his name from his shimmering appearance and iconic hovering surfboard. With the Marvel Legends Series, both kid and adult Marvel fans can start a legendary collection of comic- and movie-based Marvel characters. This 6-inch Silver Surfer figure is highly articulated and features a comic-inspired design, making it another worthy addition to the Marvel Legends Series.

The Marvel Legends 6″ Scale Silver Surfer, which was announced back at Toy Fair 2018, looks to be hitting stores soon. The figure will be a Walgreens Exclusive. The figure includes his trademark cosmic surfboard, a few interchangeable hands, and a few effects pieces.

The figure was spotted in Mexico, where it’s apparently hitting stores now. The pic comes via the Marvel Legends Collectors page. Click the thumbnail for the full image.
