After the police force goes on strike, Alex Murphy and his partner Anne Lewis are the lone officers remaining on duty to protect Old Detroit. A new drug known as Nuke begins circulating the city, with a psychopath known as Cain acting as the mastermind behind the drug’s production. With the perceived success of the Robocop program, OCP begins development on a new, more powerful Robocop. However, each test malfunctions with some of the subjects choosing suicide over being a cyborg. A rogue OCP scientist enacts her own Robocop development, using the brain of the drug kingpin Cain as the basis for the monstrous new cyborg.
Within a year of announcing their MAFEX Robocop figure, Medicom had revealed plans to release version based on Robocop 2 and Robocop 3. All three has been announced just in time for the initial release of their first Robocop figure. This gave fans of the character the chance to pick and chose which figure or figures they’d want as part of their collection. Each release has a some significant differences to make them unique. The MAFEX Robocop 2 Figure is now available, with the part 3 version set to hit this Summer.
For the Robocop 2 release, Medicom switched out a few of the hands, removing the needle spike fist, and adding two new gripping hands.The color of the armor was adjusted to have a bluer tint, and a few new accessories were added.
