While searching for his missing father, Jesse Alexander, Sam fell off his skateboard and hit his head. When he woke he discovered Gamora and Rocket standing over his hospital bed. They too were searching for Jesse and his Black Nova helmet. After discovering Jesse’s helmet, Gamora and Rocket began to teach Sam how to use a Nova helmet. Sam was trained by both Gamora and Rocket on how to properly use his helmet in order to one day live up to his father’s legacy.

Since 2008, Toys“R”Us stores have gotten their own unique assortments of Marvel Minimates, featuring heroes and villains from across the Marvel comic book universe, and even the world of Marvel films. The landmark 20th series dips into the realm of Marvel TV, and Toys“R”Us is offering collectors an amazing deal!

Beginning Friday, November 6 through Friday, November 20, Toys“R”Us will offer a Buy One, Get One deal on all two-packs of Marvel Minimates Series 20*. That means that for every two-pack of Marvel Minimates Series 20 you buy, you get one absolutely free! That’s four Minimates mini-figures for the price of two!

The assortment, based on the animated series Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, includes three different two-packs: Spider-Man with Nick Fury, Nova with Carnage, and Stealth Suit Spider-Man with Sandman. With the Lego Marvel Super Heroes line in full swing, with an ever expanding Marvel LEGO Universe, ToyArk.com brings you a photo shoot of LEGO Spider-Man sets 76004 Spider-Cycle Chase and 76005 Daily Bugle Showdown! This line may have felt like it started off slow, but the explosion of sets and minifigures available is impressive.

Check out Spider-Man, Venom, Nick Fury, Nova, Dr. Doom, Beetle and J. Jonah Jameson duke it out over control of the Daily Bugle building after the jump.

Marvel Legends continues the movie specific releases with this summer’s Guardians of the Galaxy! Earlier this year, there were Spider-Man 2 and Captain America waves to compliment the movies, and next up is GotG. The wave features the core characters – Star Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot as the Build A Figure. Filling out the wave are comic versions of Iron Man and Nova. Each case comes with an extra Iron Man and Star Lord, so those should be filling the pegs soon enough. Marvel has posted two new updates for some upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe items. First up, Marvel.com has released some cool new shots of the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians of the Galaxy Figures. The 6″ figures features the main movie cast as well as adding a new Iron Man and Nova figure. Collect them all to build Groot from the included figure parts.

Also revealed was a new Life-Size Stealth Suit Captain America Statue by Section 9 Entertainment. The over 6 foot tall statue will set you back nearly $3,300. It makes a great display piece for comic shops, movie theaters, or for the Cap collector who has it all. Marvel.com talked with Stephan Lokotsch, CEO of Section 9 Entertainment about the creation of the statue. You can order one for yourself here.
