The Godzilla: King of the Monsters – Mothra Figure is now available directly from the NECA eBay Store and the NECA Amazon Store. The small figure features articulated legs, a 12″ wingspan, a display base, and a stand for flight poses. The figure ships out to retailers are the end of the month and will be in stores in early June. You can grab it a few weeks early. We have an advanced in-hand look. Based on the monster’s on-screen appearance in this sequel to the 2014 Godzilla movie, Mothra features articulated wings and includes a themed display base with support rod for simulated in-air poses. The figure measures nearly 12 inches in wingspan and comes in window box packaging with opening flap.

In the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters film, Godzilla returns to face off against a number of gigantic new monsters, including King Ghidorah, who have emerged and begun to wreaking havoc around the globe. With over a dozen creatures set to appear in the film, fans can expect plenty of surprises. For 2019, NECA has been able to expand their Godzilla line beyond just Godzilla figures. Their first two additional monsters will be Mothra and Rodan, who join Godzilla as part of the Godzilla: King of the Monsters figure line.

The Godzilla figure is now shipping to retailers, with Mothra scheduled to ship out at the end of the month. Our friends at NECA have sent over their new Godzilla, as well as an advanced sample of Mothra from the new film. Check out a full review and hi-res photo gallery after the jump.

Here are the classic Godzilla and Godzilla: King of the Monsters figures on display by NECA at Toy Fair 2019. These include two new Godzilla designs, as well as Rodan and Mothra from the upcoming film. Sadly, NECA confirmed there are no plans for a King Ghidorah figure. There were a few other upcoming Godzilla figures as well.

A whole bunch new Godzilla: King of the Monsters toys by Jakks Pacific have been revealed. UK toy store Animegami listed the figures and revealed a ton of pictures as well. Along with all of the characters we’ve known about, there’s also a 2-pack featuring a SPOILER for the upcoming film. Without venturing into spoiler territory, the listings reveal the following items:

  • Godzilla 12″ Tall Figure
  • Godzilla Giant Size 24″ Tall Figure
  • Monster Matchups 3.5″ Tall 2-Packs
  • Monster Packs 6″ Figures
  • Godzilla Electronic Role Play Mask

These are listed for a release this May. That 24″ tall figure looks to be a simple re-release of the Giant Size Godzilla from the 2014 film. The spoiler comes in as part of the Monster Matchups. NECA has confirmed they will be continuing their Godzilla line of figures for the upcoming US movie Godzilla King of Monsters!  They’ve listed out 2 different figures so far – 12 inch head to toe Godzilla and a 7 Inch Mothra.  Good to see we’ll be getting figs other than Godzilla.  No pics yet, they’re due out in March and April 2019 closer to the movie.

NECA is thrilled to present its first figure from the upcoming, hotly anticipated Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie!

Based on the monster’s on-screen appearance in this sequel to the 2014 Godzilla movie, the all-new Godzilla is fully poseable, with over 25 points of articulation. Mothra features articulated wings and includes a display base with support rod for simulated in-air poses.

Images will be available closer to the movie release date.

An updated S.H. Monsterarts Mothra has been revealed by Tamashii Nations. The figure is based on the 1990’s Godzilla vs Mothra movie; Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth in the U.S. The Mothra Special Color Version is a Bandai Premium Web Exclusive. The release include Mothra, a Mothra Larvae, a pedestal and a ray effect piece. Mothra will have an updated paint scheme, with more subtle shading throughout to more closely match the film version. The Mothra Larvae was previously included in a 2-pack with Battra.

The Mothra Figure is priced at 10,800 Yen (about $97 USD). Pre-orders are set to go live on March 24th. The release is scheduled for August. Read on for all of the new photos.

Diamond Select Toys has released their Godzilla Classic Minimates Series 1 Box Set. The first set contains some iconic kaiju to go along with the King of Monsters. This is only the first wave in the series. The Godzilla Minimates Series 2 hit in March 2015. Series 1 includes:

  • Godzilla
  • Titanosaurus
  • Gigan
  • Mothra

The set sells for $19.99 and is available now at comic and specialty shops. After all the teaser images, show appearances and reveals, it was nice to finally get my hands on this fantastic set.
