The Tamashii WebShop has posted official images of their exclusive Super Parts sets for the DX VF-25G Renewal Version as well as the DX RVF-25 Renewal Version. It’s fitting that these sets will be made as the Messiahs were rarely seen without their super armor on in the TV series(and even the original DX Version 1 releases of the VF-25G/RVF-25 came with the armor).

Unlike the DX Version 1 RVF-25, the RVF-25 Renewal super parts/Ghost drone set will come with 3 drones instead of just 1. The VF-25G super parts are 4,725 yen while the RVF-25 super parts/Ghost Drone set will run for 8,925 yen. Read on to see the images.

A Super Parts and Ghost Drones(3) set for the DX RVF-25 Messiah Renewal Version were on display recently at the Tamashii Nations Akiba Showroom. This set was hinted at in hobby mags earlier but this is the 1st time that it was shown publicly. Also on display was a set of super parts for the DX VF-25G Messiah Renewal Ver.

Unlike the DX V1 releases, it’s nice to see that Bandai actually included 3 drones with for the RVF super parts set. Given that Luca’s RVF is rarely(if even) seen without the super parts, this set is a must-have. Read on to check it out. Also, both super parts sets as usual, are TamashiiWeb exclusives.

Way back in October last year, Tamashii revealed their DX RVF-25 Messiah Renewal Version. Very recently, Tamashii revealed images of this forthcoming toy, for release in June. Pre-orders are supposed to be up soo-…..*YAWN*…apparently this toy has already sold out at certain retailers leaving certain fanboys elsewhere to wonder what the hell just happened.

As Tamashii/Bandai intentionally shortens supply of this long awaited VF we are left with nothing but new, official images to look at. Cross your fingers that you are able to use fold quartz to get a pre-order in at our sponsor Hobbylink Japan who undoubtedly would try their best to obtain enough of these to go around, given that Bandai decides to make more.

Tamashii Nations 5th presented a triple reveal of releases for the increasingly hard to obtain(since later last year) DX Macross Frontier line. These new items include:

  • DX VF-171 Nightmare
  • DX RVF-25 Messiah Renewal Version
  • DX VF-27 Lucifer With Super Parts
New images of the above items, as well as the VF-171EX Nightmare Plus Super Parts and recently revealed S.H. MonsterArts Vajra can be seen after the jump, courtesy of Dengeki Online! Note: A ROBOT Damashii SIDE VF VF-25F was shown but we aren’t sure it’s a re-release of the original figure from a few years back, or all new.

Tamashii has updated their production blog with new images of the Galia IV & Ghost Drone accessory sets for the Macross Frontier DX VF-25 line. These accessories are meant for the VF-25G & RVF-25, however are compatible with other variants.

The Galia IV set comes with sound boosters, super fold booster, & Ranka Lee figurine. The Ghost Drone set comes with different missles, rocket pods, ghost drone, and other accessories.

Tamashii has released their Macross Frontier 1/60 scale DX RVF-25 Luca Custom! Similar to the VE-1 ELINT Seeker, this armed reconnaissance variant of the VF-25 includes a randome and armor parts. Also included is a display stand, usable in all 3 modes of transformation!

Tamashii has unveiled prototypes of full armor, as well as their web-exclusive accessories for their DX VF-25 toys from Macross Frontier. Full armor will be available bundled with the VF-25S for the mass market. The VF-25F full armor will be available exclusively through Tamashii’s WebShop.

The fold booster shown on the VF-25F comes with the accessory kit for the VF-25G. Also shown are the Ranka Lee figurine, as well as speaker pods which are mounted underneath the wings.

Shown around and on the RVF-25 are the various missles included in the Ghost drone set(primarily for the RVF-25), as well as the drone itself.

The accessory kits will be available exclusively through Tamashii’s WebShop.

Tamashii has unveiled CAD drawings of their DX VF-25 Ghost & Weapons Set for their 1/60 DX VF-25 toyline. This set is exclusive to Tamashii’s WebShop.

The VF-25 is from Macross Frontier, and though this set is compatible with all DX VF-25 toys, the Ghost drone and weapons shown are typically shown on Luca’s RVF-25. The irony being that he rarely ever fired any missles, much less hit anything.

Bandai has released new images of their 1/72 scale RVF-25 Luca Custom w/Ghost drones! The “ELINT Seeker” of the VF-25 Messiah family, this unique VF-25 is typically seen with Luca’s 3 Ghost drones. The drones also include display stands!
