Super 7 has released an 80s style toy commercial for their upcoming Thundercats Ultimates line of action figures. It really nails the old school style of commercials from that time and is worth a watch. Super 7 have finally revealed what we were all hoping for once they picked up MOTUC – the continuation of Mattel and The Four Horsemen’s Thundercats Classics line of 7 inch figures! Now titled Thundercats Ultimates – to kick things off they will be re-releasing four of the original figures with upgraded accessories. Included in round 1 is Lion-O, Panthro, Jackalman and Mumm-Ra. Toyark’s Thundercats Classics Galleries
A new line of stylized Thundercats Statues have been revealed by Iron Studios’ sub-brand known as Mini Co. The statues were revealed during CCXP Cologne in Germany last week, and are based on the original 80’s cartoon. They will be sold by Iron Studios, with an expected release in the fourth quarter of the year. Included are:
No pricing or details have been released at this time. Typically, Mini Co. statues stand about 5″ to 6″ tall depending on character, and sell for between $17 to $25 each. Check out the photos after the jump.
Last week, Funko released official details for their Savage World Horror Figures. Today, we have an update on their highly anticipated Thundercats Savage World Figures. With the “Savage World” title, Funko is bringing together multiple licenses together and designing figures in classic Masters of the Universe 5.5″ body styles. The first assortment includes Lion-O, Panthro, Mumm-Ra and Slithe. This is only a small sample of the Thundercats and other Savage World figures that are coming. Many more were revealed at Toy Fair 2018. Look for these to hit in October at a price of about $13 each.

After a preview last week, Sideshow Collectibles has released photos and details for their new Thundercats Lion-O Statue. This release will join the upcoming Thundercats Mumm-Ra Statue, which you can Pre-Order Here. The statue will stand over 27″ tall from base to sword tip. A Sideshow Exclusive version will be available, which includes an additional interchangeable head sculpt. Pre-orders begin this Thursday. Check out details below and the new photos after the jump.
Sideshow is proud to present the Lion-O Statue, the next exciting addition to the ThunderCats collection.
Lion-O stands proud atop a Cats’ Lair inspired base, holding the legendary Sword of Omens high above his head. In the other hand, he wields the intricate golden Claw Shield. The Lion-O Statue measures 27” tall from the bottom of the clawed base to the tip of his sword.
As Lord of the ThunderCats, the polystone Lion-O Statue has a sculpted Thunderian physique, thoroughly detailed with fur-like texture. He has a fierce portrait inspired by his classic cartoon appearance, complete with feline facial features, red eyes, and flowing scarlet hair.
Lion-O’s costume has been given an updated aesthetic for Sideshow’s ThunderCats collection. He is wearing two-toned blue armor accented with silver studs, along with a matching vambrace and boots. His chest bears the iconic Eye of Thundera, which can also be seen on the hilt of the Sword of Omens.
ThunderCats, ho! The Exclusive edition of the Lion-O Statue includes an alternate roaring portrait, with yellow eyes and bared fangs as he summons the strength of the ThunderCats team. The Exclusive edition is limited to only 400 pieces.

Last week, Sideshow Collectibles gave fans a great look at their new Thundercats Mumm-Ra Statue. This week, we have our first look at their second statue from the Thundercats. They have released a new photo of their upcoming Lion-O Statue. The statue goes up for pre-order on Thursday March 1, 2018, some time between Noon and 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
