Another DC Multiverse teaser today – Kyle Rayner Green Lantern from the Blackest Night comic arc! This is a pretty vanilla version of Kyle which can work beyond the Blackest Night theme, hanging tight with John Stewart and Hal Jordan from previous waves, building out your McFarlane era GL Corps. Again no word yet on price, release date, accessories, Build A parts etc. Stay tuned for the full drops!
Thanks again to BarbaraGordon of the Toyark forums for alerting us to new international pre-orders for upcoming DC Multiverse figures. The Blackest Night themed Build A Wave was listed with figures for Kyle Rayner Green Lantern, Batman, Superman and Deathstorm. No word yet on the Build A Figure but a larger scale character in that theme points to Atrocious. Release date is tentatively July 2022 in the States. No word yet on price, exclusivity or specific pics and details. Stay tuned for official reveals from McFarlane Toys in the coming weeks!

Toyark is happy to present a detailed high resolution gallery of the San Diego Comic Con 2012 DC Collectibles 3 3/4th Green Lantern 2 Pack. The set features Green Lanterns Kyle Rayner and Kilowog with tons of articulation, metallic paint and a well done box.
This was a test by DC Collectibles to see if there was demand for this size class and style. They’ve done mock ups for a slew of other Lanterns (not just Green), and a kick ass playset to match. You can check out pics of all that here: SDCC 12 – DC Collectibles Photos From Saturday.
Next up in the line, currently only set to be released as Convention exclusives – will be John Stewart and Red Lantern Atrocitus. But don’t fret, DC Collectibles reps said the reaction was very positive and that they are going to hit the books and figure out if there is a way to expand the line.
What do you guys think – do you want more DC Collectibles figures in this size class and style? Is the price of $25 dollars for a 2 pack good? Would you pay more? Do you want that playset seen here? Would you want/prefer non-Green Lantern DC characters? Let the world know!
Read on to see our gallery, and then discuss over on the Toyark Forums!
We’ve added a bunch of pics of the DC Collectibles booth. These photos come in from this morning’s walk through of the show. Some things we’ve seen, but just better shots. There’s a bunch of nice close up shots of the Green Lantern display. In addition to Astrocitus there’s a number of other 3-3/4″ Lanterns shown who may or may not be upcoming releases for 2013(EDIT: Hal Jordan is shown too and we figure that’s an inevitable figure for release).
Also shown are the New 52 JLA figure set and the big Darkseid figure.
EDIT: Toyark reps spoke with the DC Collectibles rep today. They said the feedback has been great on the 3 3/4ths figures, way more so than they expected, and that they will be heading back and trying to figure out how to get going. Nothing 100% official or confirmed, but bottom line, they are going to be looking hard at making this a broader line. Make sure to continue sounding off about what you like and don’t like, desired price points, etc. Can be helpful in these earlier stages.
We have received a new press release from DC Collectibles regarding their plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2012.
