MAFEX John Wick Chapter 2 Photo Shoot

Tell them all. Whoever comes, I’ll kill them. I’ll kill them all. John Wick movies have been some of my favorite non sci-fi, non-hero based movies in recent memory, and the merch keeps coming! We shot MAFEX’s first release (see our first John Wick gallery here), along with DST’s John Wick Select, and now we have MAFEX’s entry for John Wick Chapter 2. This version is very similar to the first body wise, with slightly better head sculpts and paint. He also comes with Dog, not a dog, but Dog, proper which he picked up at the end of the first movie. His look is an all black suit with white shirt and tie this time, matching his look for much of the second movie. Weapons include a shotgun, rifle, 2 pistols and an extra hand with a pencil. A f*****g pencil!

All in all it’s a solid release, and copping depends on your scale. Mafex is a small 1/12, while DST is a very large 7 inch scale. So pick your poison. Read on to check out over 45 HD images showing his skills courtesy of Entertainment Earth! He’s in stock and shipping now!

New John Wick, Captain Marvel, and Kingdom Hearts Figures In Stores Now

Early Look: John Wick Select from Diamond Select Toys In-Hand Gallery

Well, John wasn’t exactly The Boogeyman. He was the one you sent to kill the f*****g Boogeyman. John Wick has been a pleasant surprise in the sea of superhero movies over the last couple years, just pure action with a slow build of an extended universe that leaves you wanting more. They’ve done 3, with a fourth and potential TV show in the works. Merch is finally starting to hit shelves for the franchise, like today’s Diamond Select Toys John Wick Select. This is the first figure release by DST, they also have statues and various other formats available.

MAFEX John Wick Photo Shoot

Two things, never mess with a man’s dog or his car. Well, someone did both and now we have 3 awesome movies because of it. :) I’m surprised it took this long to get some kick ass merch for the property but John Wick has officially arrived with this MAFEX figure. There are others from Mezco and DST coming, but this is a traditional upper tier action figure in the 1/12-ish scale which fits into my line ups the best so far. He comes with 2 heads, 2 x pistol, 1 x shotgun, 1 x rifle, and a stand. Articulation is everywhere you need it, all significant poses are attainable even in his slender suited body style. Heads use digital printing and are solid from a distance, up close they get a little mucky. Sculpts are like 75% there. In some angles and light, it’s dead on Keanu. In others, not so much. Neither are bad, they are in the zone, but it’s not epic level accuracy.

Bottom line, I really dig the John Wick movies and have been itching for figures. This guy is top of whats available for the foreseeable future and IMO is worthy of a pick up. Read on to check out over 55 HD images showing his skills courtesy of Entertainment Earth! He’s in stock and shipping now!
