For May the 4th, LEGO has revealed an all-new set, that lets fans interact with their favorite Star Wars Droids in a pretty unique way. The set allows you to build R2-D2, the Mouse Droid, and the Gonk Droid and combines them with LEGO BOOST, which allows you to code movements into the Droids. By using a downloadable app, fans can complete character specific missions with their LEGO Droids using a drag and drop coding environment. The set will include electronics, such as sound effects, motors and Bluetooth move hub pieces. Overall, the set includes 1,177 pieces and over 40 missions for the Droids to complete.
We have a full press release and photos of the set, including the interactive LEGO Boost app. Check them out after the jump.
