This one slipped by us late last week. Tamashii Nations has put up product page for an upcoming SH Monsterarts Gamera. This particulat figure is based on his appearance in the 1996 Heisei series movie Gamera 2: Advent of Legion. The classic Kaiju comes in with a stunning looking sculpt, a ton of articulation and numerous accessories. You will be able to display Gamera in either standing or flight poses with the included figure stand. Accessories include a fireball effect, a fire display base, figure stand for the effect or flying Gamera, and interchangeable flight pieces. The chest can be opened up to simulate his plasma attack as well. Gamera comes in at 150MM, which is about 5.5″ tall.

The SH Monsterarts Gamera is scheduled for release in January 2015. It is priced at 9,504 Yen (about $89 USD). See the full gallery by reading on.

Tokusatsu Revoltech has revealed two new Revoltech figures. The new figure are for you fans oftheir Japanese monsters releases, as they are releasing Legion and G2 Gamera from Gamera 2: Advent of Legion. The Legion figure comes with a mini Gamera figure as well as seven Legion Soldiers. Release dates are listed as “Coming Soon…”.

It seems Kaiyodo is intent on doing every single Japanese movie monster other than Gojira (Godzilla) as a Revoltech. We already have fantastic figures for Gigan, Angirasu, and Heisei Gamera. Now there is one more figure you can add to that collection.

Tokusatsu Revoltech has revealed that a new Gamera Showa is incoming. This all new mold can be posed in standing, dogfight or flying modes. The chest even opens up to hide away Gamera‘s head. The figure is due April 2011.

Thanks to the Cybergundam Blog, we have some new photos of the upcoming Revoltech Gyaos and Gamera figures. Each will sell for 2,850 Yen (About $30 USD). Gyaos will stand just under 5 inches tall, and Gamera will be just under 4 inches.
