The Funko POP! Vinyl Figures Fan Page’s Page has posted an image showcasing a bunch of newly revealed Pop! Vinyl Figures. The new assortment is based on the hit Assassin’s Creed video game series. Included are:
• Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
• Ezio Auditore
• Connor (aka Ratonhnhaké:ton)
• Edward Kenway
• Plague Doctor
The McFarlane Toys Assassin’s Creed figures have been sighted at Toys R Us. I stumbled upon these figures a few days ago but had some technical difficulties getting my photographic evidence to load, hence the delay. Interestingly enough, Toys R Us is selling these for $16.99, which may be well above the MSRP(judging by pre-order prices at BBTS and the like, the MSRP might be $9.99 or a tad more).
The 1st wave has been split into 2 parts; 3 figures now, 2 more to come later this Fall. Out now are:
Early pre-orders and displays alluded to Altair as being one of the “hidden” figures in the 1st wave. However, the back of the packaging reveals who the other 2 figures are. One is Ratonhnhaké:ton while the other is Connor in “New York” colors(dark blue costume skin). The 2nd wave of figures is shown on the back, most if not all, from Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Blackbeard and others are in wave 2. There are also some more “hidden” pirates/figures alluded to.
We aren’t sure if other brick & mortar retailers will be carrying this line at the moment. Perhaps more will jump onboard with the release of ACIV: Black Flag later this year.
