Hot Toys Doc Ock DX 001

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Alfred Molina returned as Doctor Octopus, a role he originally played back in 2004. The third film in the MCU Spider-Man series sees Peter Parker visits fellow Avenger Dr. Strange asking for help. Hoping to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man after Mysterio reveals his identity to the world. As Strange casts his spell, Parker interferes and numerous rifts into the Multiverse open. Iconic Spider-Man villains from alternate realities make their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, each looking for their Peter Parker. Among the villains were the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Electro, and the Lizard.

Hot Toys has released photos and details for their upcoming figure based on Do Ock from the movie. The Doctor Octopus 1/6 Scale Figure stands over 12″ tall, with about 30 points of articulation. The figure has multiple interchangeable hands, metallic arms with bendable wires, a tentacle spear, removable goggles, and a figure stand. A Deluxe Edition is also being released. that version includes swap out nano tech tentacles.

Pre-orders will go live soon for the figure. It is due for release between the Second and Third Quarters of 2023. Read on for full details and the new photos.

Diamond Select Toys has sent along images and details for their new Marvel Minimates releases. The Marvel Animated Minimates Series 10 and Series 11 are now available from Walgreens. Each series contains four 2-packs based on various Marvel animated adventures. Also available at Walgreens, are 2-packs based on Maximum Venom. Marvel Animated Minimates Series 10 and 11 Hit Walgreens, Plus Maximum Venom!

It’s official – new Marvel Animated Minimates have hit Walgreens! More heroes and villains from the Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Avengers and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy are now available as 2-inch Minimates mini-figures, in exclusive designs only available at Walgreens stores!

Series 10 features four two-packs from across the Marvel animated universe, including:

  • From Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars, Crimson Widow with Dracula, and Doctor Strange with Ghost Rider
  • From Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket with Adam Warlock
  • From Marvel’s Spider-Man, Venom with Hammerhead. This is the first Hammerhead Minimate ever made!

Series 11 is hitting simultaneously, with four all-new two-packs. The assortment includes:

  • From Marvel’s Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man with Peter Parker, and Spider-Girl with Doctor Octopus;
  • From Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest, Black Panther with Shuri, and Captain America with Peggy Carter

Plus, Walgreens is also selling two 2-packs based on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom! The assortment includes:

Time for another round of Marvel Legends catch up!  Today we are looking and the second part of the Sp//dr wave – Scarlett Spider, House of M Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus, and Sp//dr himself.  While these, and the previous couples are solid, the main pull here is Dr. Octopus.   He’s diesel, well executed, and has solid adjustable arms.  His colors pop and represents a classic comic look perfectly.  Sp//dr when together has a great range of articulation for such a lanky bot.  The Spideys – good catch em all style figs but neither scream epicness.  All in all it was  sharp wave capped with Doc Ock.  Read on to check out over 50 images after the break courtesy of Dorkside Toys!Dorkside Toys
