Prime 1 Studio Previews – DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, Alita, Predator, Fist of the North Star, Resident Evil, and More
Prime 1 Studio held a massive online reveal event last night, which they called the Prime 1 Studio Next Level Showcase 2020. They revealed well over 30 statues. The video, which is nearly 3 hours long. The first hour recaps many of their past statues. However, the remainder of the video is dedicated to detailed looks at all of these upcoming statues. Since the video is so long, I’ve taken the time to do detailed screen captures (over 225) of all of the new items, and broken down the reveals below. Sizes weren’t mentioned for all of them, but they are typically 1/4 scale and 1/3 scale. I’ve skipped sketches, which went by very quickly. You can see those images, and watch the video after the jump. For the Transformers reveals, check TFW2005’s coverage Here and Here.

Storm Collectibles Injustice Doomsday Gallery
Storm Collectibles have been killing it with the video game figures. They started with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter but have expanded into multiple games across multiple eras. All of which use their unique design style and scale. A couple figures popped out to me as a fan of DC stuff – Doomsday and Darkseid from Injustice. While video game based – they are large well done figures that can stand in for these guys in any multi generational DC line up. Today we are taking a look at Doomsday. He’s very faithful to the game and has all the elements Doomsday should have – grey skin, green trunks, bony protrusions throughout the body. He does have a pony tail, but hey they guy was trying to up his game for the ladies I guess. All in all it’s a great beefy figure that’s now hanging out on my all purpose DC shelf. We’ve run him through a set, read on to check out over 35 HD shots courtesy of Entertainment Earth!

DOOMSDAY is a rampaging, seemingly mindless, murdering monster who killed Superman. He is the result of Kryptonian genetic engineering gone awry. In “The Death of Superman” comic storyline in which he first appeared, Doomsday mysteriously bashed his way out of a metallic holding cell miles underground, dug his way up, and began senselessly killing and destroying everything he saw. His motives were initially unknown, but his nature was obvious; He was incredibly powerful, merciless, and seemingly unstoppable. He easily defeated the justice league before confronting Superman. Features:
- 260mm Tall Doomsday Original-Designed Body
- 2 x Interchangeable Doomsday’s Head sculpt
- 3 x Pairs of Interchangeable Hand
Release Date: Q1 2020

The statue will stand at 26.5″ tall, and will include a rubble diorama base and a removable torn fabric cape for his hand. Sideshow will offer a standard edition and an exclusive edition. Their exclusive Doomsday includes an interchangeable portrait with a ripped mask. Pre-orders for the new Doomsday Maquette will go live on Thursday, August 9th. Click the headline of the story to see the new photos.
Sideshow is proud to present the Doomsday Maquette, bringing certain doom to the heroes of the DC universe. Has the Justice League finally met their match?
Measuring a monstrous 26.5” tall, the Doomsday Maquette is the ultimate fearsome foe, created from the violence of prehistoric Krypton. Doomsday stands astride a rubble environment base littered with relics from the valiant heroes who have fallen in his wake.
Wonder Woman’s sword, Aquaman’s trident, and Batman’s cowl all serve as trophies at Doomsday’s feet while a number of Batarangs are embedded into his chest and shoulders. In his right hand he clutches the fabric tatters of Superman’s cape, which includes internal wiring for posing and can be removed from the figure. On his left hand, the villain has forced an inert Green Lantern ring onto his finger in a brutal display of force.
The polyresin Doomsday Maquette also features intricately sculpted green leg armor, as remnants of the beast’s containment suit cling to his hulking physique. His body is covered in countless jagged spikes and rough textures, giving Doomsday his famous otherworldly appearance. Pair the Doomsday Maquette with heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman to stage an epic showdown in your lineup of DC collectibles.
The Exclusive edition of the Doomsday Maquette includes a swap-out hooded portrait, inspired by his debut in the Superman comics. The sculpted green hood is detailed with complex textures and a red eye lens, as Doomsday tears through the containment mask to unleash his full power.
Bring your DC collection to its knees and order the Doomsday Maquette today!
