Hot Toys has posted photos and product details for their upcoming The Mandalorian – Dark Trooper 1/6 Scale Figure. Inspired by the classic video game Dark Forces, the Dark Troopers were a new breed of droid Troopers being developed by the remnant of the Empire, under the leadership of Moff Gideon. The massive Troopers were clad in black, and proved extremely difficult to defeat…That is until the arrival of a mysterious, yet familiar, cloaked ally.
The Dark Trooper Figure stands about 12.8″ tall, with about 25 points of articulation. The figure has a light up functions in the head and chest. It will include multiple interchangeable hands, a blaster rifle, and a figure stand. Look for pre-orders to go live soon. Pricing has not been announced at this time. It will be priced at $260. Pre-orders are up on Sideshow. The Dark Trooper is set for release between the Second and Third Quarters of 2022.
