New solicitations have gone out for a few new Aliens and Predator figures from Hiya Toys. Pre-orders for these items should begin to go online today. These 1/18 scale figures are due for release in 2021. The figures are Previews Exclusives, and will be available in local comic shops, and most online collectible retailers. Check out the list below. Hiya Alien 3 Dog Alien Preview 2

A few new previews have been posted by Hiya Toys. The images show off the 3D models for two figures coming next year. The first is the Dog Alien (aka the Runner) from Alien 3. The second is for a Chopper Predator from Alien vs Predator. They also posted a very small teaser for what may be an Alien Queen from Aliens (that hasn’t been confirmed though). Check out the previews after the jump.

UPDATE:
They shared a preview of the AvP Grid Alien. We’ll keep updating this thread with more previews as they hit.

UPDATE 2:
The tiny preview was indeed for an Alien Queen. They have added a new photo giving us our first look at the figure.

An impaled Scar Predator 3D model was shared.

For their second day in the 12 Days of Downloads, NECA has released two new Predator Visual Guides. These new visual guides showcase every 7″ scale Predator figure released to date, plus a few upcoming figures to round out the selection. Here’s a bit of extra info from NECA:

We’ve updated two different versions of our Predators action figure visual guide to be completely current! Both include all our Predator action figures to date, and one version additionally features a gallery of card backer art. Available as extra-large, 300 dpi JPGs. Download links appear below each image.

We’re kicking off our Week of NECA with a contest! We’ve teamed up with NECA Toys to offer their new Predators Series 14 – AvP Predators 7″ Scale Figures as a grand prize! The wave included Chopper Predator, Scar Predator and Celtic Predator. All stood roughly 9″ tall and included an insane amount of accessories. They feature newly sculpted and refined sculpts. We had a 1st look at the figure later in 2015 and they are one of the best waves yet. If you don’t win, then be sure to check your favorite retailer to grab these now.

So, how do you enter? It’s simple. Take and share a new photo of a fight scene featuring your favorite NECA toys from any era. You can mix in other toys as well, but NECA toys should make up the majority of the figures. You can post on the forums in This Discussion Thread! You can also enter on Twitter or Instagram by tagging us and tagging us and using the hashtag #ToyarkNECA. Please keep in mind the contest is only open to U.S. Residents Only (we apologize to our international readers and we’ll have something for you guys in the future). On Friday, January 23rd, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST, the contest ends. We’ll round up all the images, pick a winner and then share them on Toyark.com for everyone to see.

We had an early look at this fantastic wave of figures, and they’re a great addition to your own Predator line up. You can grab them from the NECA Ebay Store or on the NECA Amazon Store.

Predators Series 14 is scheduled to ship to retailers very soon. Predator is the longest running series by NECA, and they show no signs of slowing down. They have been prepping some all-new figures, and they kick off with these upcoming releases. The Alien vs Predator wave includes newly sculpted versions of the Celtic Predator, Chopper Predator and Scar Predator. NECA refined the designs a bit, making them a little less bulky and more in line with the more traditional Predator designs. by doing so, they were able to give these figures some of the best articulation in the line. Each figure includes multiple character specific accessories, over 30 points of articulation and they stand about 8.25″ tall.

Check out photos of the Predator Series 14 finalized production figures. These should start to ship to retailers in about 2 weeks. Series 14 includes Celtic Predator, Chopper Predator and Scar Predator. These are refined versions of the Hunters seen in Alien vs Predator. NECA shared out these new photos today, and it gives us a nice look at production versions of the figures. We’ll have our own gallery and review after these figures are released.

I was able to stop off at the New Jersey Comic Expo today. NECA was displaying at the show for the first time, and promised a new reveal. What they revealed were the Cinemachines. A new line of small, licensed vehicles and diorama pieces. The first few revealed were from the Aliens franchise and included:

  • Alien – Derelict Engineer/Space Jockey Ship
  • Aliens – M577 Armored Personnel Carrier
  • Aliens – UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship with spring launching M577 Armored Personnel Carrier

I was able to talk with Stefan of NECA, who promised even more cool Cinemachines on the way. Those will be unveiled at Toy Fair. Also, they had a bunch of previously released items. A few of these newer items were on display as well:

At San Diego Comic-Con 2015, NECA dropped some major new announcements for their Alien and Predator lines. This includes a retooled alien Queen as the Aliens: Genocide Red Queen! Also, did they sneak in a first look at the AvP Alien Xenomorph in the Predator Series 14 setup? Time will tell. Fans of larger figures will want to check out the fantastic looking 1/4 Scale Jungle Hunter Predator with LED lights. Here’s what you can see:
