Good Smile Company has shared their web gallery for reveals during WonHobby 35, which is taking place in Akihabara this weekend. The event, hosted by Good Smile Company and Max Factory, features a bunch of new reveals from the companies. We’ve picked through their online gallery and have the reveals and announcements for the product types and licenses we would normally cover. However, they have many more reveals for things we don’t tend to cover, and their Web Gallery is worth checking out for those reveals. Today, Mezco continued sharing previews and announcements for items they would have announced at Toy Fair 2021. Today is the second day of reveals, where they announced some new action figures and licenses. Each day, we’ll round up those reveals into a single post. Today’s announcements can be found below. Good Smile Company has announced that two previously released Silent Hill 2 figures would be reissued. The Figma versions of the Red Pyramid Thing (aka Pyramid Head) and the Bubble Head Nurse were originally released back in 2015. Each figure will feature a mix of hard and soft plastic, allowing for better range of motion. The Bubble Head Nurse figure will stand about 6″ tall, and will include a knife, a metal pipe, and an articulated figure stand. The Red Pyramid Thing stand almost 8″ tall, and includes his Great Knife, a Spear, and an articulated figure stand.
The figures are scheduled for release in July 2021. The Bubble Head Nurse figure is priced at 7,000 Yen (about $66 USD), while the Red Pyramid Thing is priced at 8,000 Yen (about $76 USD). Check out photos and official info after the jump.
The announcement of a new Silent Hill figure comes at a sad time for fans of the franchise. The highly anticipated Silent Hills was cancelled by Konami, who also pulled the amazing demo; P.T. from the PSN. It’s nice to see that those looking for a Silent Hill fix can count on the folks at the Good Smile Company. They have just revealed a new Figma Bubble Head Nurse (aka the Bloody Nurse) from Silent Hill 2.
The figure will stand at 150MM tall (about 6″). It will feature a mix of hard and soft plastic, allowing for maximum articulation. The Bubble Head Nurse will include a knife and a metal pipe. Pre-orders are now live Here. The figure is priced at 4,600 Yen (about $38 USD) with a release in October.
