Hot Toys Arkham Knight Batgirl 002

After showing of the figure nearly 2 years ago, Hot Toys has finally released details and images for their Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl 1/6 Scale Figure. The figure is based on Batgirl as she appears in “A Matter of Family“, one of the downloadable episodes from Arkham Knight. That story takes place a few years prior to the events of the game, before she was confined to a wheelchair and taking on the Oracle persona. In the story, she teams up with Robin to rescue Commissioner Gordon from The Joker. She stands nearly 12” tall, with a little under 30 points of articulation. Batgirl includes multiple interchangeable hands, a Batarang, a grapnel gun, a remote hacking device, and a figure stand.

The Batgirl Figure is set for release between the Second and third Quarters of 2021. Pre-orders are not yet live, and pricing has not been revealed at this time. You can see photos and official product details after the jump.

We aren’t even 2 weeks into 2020 and the first major story for collectors has hit – McFarlane Toys DC Comics license is live.  They wasted no time, dropping on Jan 1 and showing up for purchase soon after.  Wave 1 of what is being called DC Multiverse (Mattel’s was technically DC Comics Multiverse) consists of 12 figures and 1 vehicle. Included are:

We have everything in hand and have begun our galleries and reviews.  We are splitting this into two parts.  Today we will be covering Batman #1000, Superman #1000, Batgirl, Nightwing, Batman Who Laughs, Unchained Superman and Hellbat Batman.

We’ve done base shots on pure white to show clearly what’s going on with each figure, articulation range, key features.  We’ve also run them for comparisons with each other and other brand’s figures of different scale.  And of course, we capped it off with some super fancy pants shots because that’s the fun stuff!

Yesterday, we shared photos of the new DC Comics – Batgirl 1/6 Scale Maquette by Tweeterhead. They have opened up pre-orders for the Tweeterhead Exclusive version. The statue features Batgirl standing atop a Gotham City rooftop themed base. The cape is fully sculpted, and the EX version will include a swap out hand holding a batarang. In a new update, Tweeterhead announced that they will include an additional classic style belt buckle (as seen in the attached comic cover), which featured a larger bat symbol. No photos of that piece have been revealed just yet.

You can pre-order the Batgirl Exclusive Maquette by Clicking Here. The Exclusive Batgirl Maquette is limited to just 250 pieces.
