S.H. Figuarts Android 16 High Res Gallery

It’s been a hard wait for the official US release of Android 16, but he has finally arrived and is ready for battle! Android 16 is the 19th figure in the S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z line and completes Dr. Gero’s creations (Cell, Android 17 and 18). Standing taller than the average figure, he is in scale with his fellow Androids and fits perfectly in the existing line up. New Dragonball Z S.H. Figuarts and More at Tamashii Nations Event

Bandai Tamashii Nations is holding an event showing off new goods from a wide array of properties, and Dragonball Z had a ton of new products revealed. From the S.H. Figuarts line we now have Buu, times two. Super Buu with Gohan absorbed, and Super Buu with Gotenks absorbed. Also seen was a full on Super Saiyan 4 Goku. Couple that with a Buu Saga adult Gohan, and the previously seen Vegito and it’s clear S.H. Figuarts will be moving to a Buu Saga theme next year. We also get a look at previously seen or released figures like Android 17 and Android 16.

Along with these S.H. Figuarts figures were a selection of new Effects pieces. Green Wind, Electricity, Clouds, Wilderness (perfect DBZ accessory), Energy (Alpha), Explosions (Gray and Orange), Lava and a Light Stand. These add to the Fire and Impact versions out last year so your displays should be much more dynamic soon.

Rounding out the DBZ themed part of the event, we have new Zero and Zero EX figures. For Zero, we see new Radditz, Bardock, another Goku, and Vegeta. For Zero EX, we have SS Trunks and Super Buu.

Overall a pretty solid DBZ showing, it’s gonna be a busy year if they actually all get released!

SH Figuarts DBZ Android 16 North American Release Info

Bluefin Tamashii Nations has updated with info on the North American release of Android 16. The highly anticipated release in the Dragonball Z SH Figuarts line is scheduled to hit in March 2015. It will have a SRP of $61.99. From Tamashii:

Who was Dr. Gero’s orange haired and entirely synthetic android creation? You guessed it, Android 16! The powerful Android 16 joins 17 and 18 in the S.H.Figuarts lineup. Android 16 comes with 3 interchangeable face parts (yelling, laughing, and battle damage design) perfect for recreating your favorite Dragon Ball scenes! Interchangeable right and left hands are also included.

Tamashii Reveals DBZ Android 16 SH Figuarts

Tamashii has posted up images and info for their upcoming Dragonball Z Android 16 SH Figuarts. The figure is due, in Japan, in February 2015 as a web shop limited item. It’s priced at 5,940 Yen (about $56 USD). Android 16 will stand at 175MM tall (just under 7″). The figure will include interchangeable hands and three interchangeable faces.
