AvP and Aliens by Hiya

Photos and details have been released for two upcoming figures from Hiya Toys. The first is an Alien vs Predator – Unmasked Scar Predator 3.75″ Scale Figure. The unmasked Scar Predator stands at 4.5″ tall. It includes a combi stick and a shuriken. The second figure is an Aliens – Blue Alien Warrior 3.75″ Scale Figure. The figure also stands at 4.5″ tall. These will be priced at $19.99 each. They will be released in May 2021. They are Previews Exclusives, and will be available from local comic shops, and most online collectible retailers. Alien vs Predator – Unmasked Scar Predator 3.75″ Scale Figure
From Hiya Toys. A PREVIEWS Exclusive! Based off the blockbuster AVP: Alien vs. Predator movie, Hiya Toys presents this unmasked version of the Scar Predator in a 1/18 scale! Aliens – Blue Alien Warrior 3.75″ Scale Figure

Avp and Predator by Hiya Toys

Hiya Toys has sent over photos and details for four new figures. they have announced two new figures from AvP: Alien vs Predator, and two new figures from Predators. For AvP, they are releasing an Alien Warrior, and the Celtic Predator. For Predators, they have announced an Active Camouflage Berserker Predator, and an Invisible Tracker Predator. The 3.75″ scale figures will stand between 4″ and 4.5″ tall (depending on the character).

The AvP figures are set to ship out in January 2021, while the two Predators figures are scheduled for a December 2020 release. They will be priced at $19.99 each. See photos and details after the jump.

Prime 1 Alien Warrior 001

Pre-orders have been opened by Prime 1 Studio for their new Aliens – Alien Warrior Statue. As with many of their releases, there will be two versions available. The statue stands at 26″ tall, and 30″ wide on the diorama base. The diorama base is modeled after the flooring of the colony buildings on LV-426, with a Facehugger hatching from one of the Alien Eggs. That is what is included with the Standard Edition, which features a closed mouth portrait. Prime 1 Studio is also offering a Deluxe Bonus Edition. With that version, you get swap out opened and closed Alien Eggs, a stand to display the second Alien Egg, interchangeable opened and closed mouth portraits, a bust stand to display the second portrait, interchangeable long and short inner snapping jaws. If you order the Deluxe Edition directly from Prime 1 Studio, you get a M41A Pulse Rifle accessory for the base.

The Alien Warrior Standard Edition is priced at $1,599. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $1,899. Payment plans are available. The statue is set for release in the Fourth Quarter of 2021. You can see photos and details after the jump.

Fans can now order the Aliens Xenomorph 3.75″ Scale ReAction Figures from Super7. The new figures feature the Alien Warrior in three variants, inspired by the different suits used in the film. Super7 Aliens ReAction

A new assortment of Aliens 3.75″ Scale ReAction Figures are coming next week via Super7. The new figures feature the Alien Warrior in three variants. They include Alien Warrior Midnight, Alien Warrior Dusk, and Alien Warrior Nightfall figures. They will go on sale beginning Wednesday, January 15th via Super7’s Store. Later this year, an assortment of human characters from the film will make their debut. The official details are listed below, and photos can be found after the jump.

Unleashing next week are the Alien Warriors awaiting Ripley and the Marines on Acheron (LV-426). The figures are brand new sculpts based on the Alien Warriors from everyone’s favorite 2nd Alien movie. Terrifying!

Superman vs Alien Set 050

Playing catch up with some of the back log I have. Today I am happy to share my photo shoot of the Superman vs Alien 2-Pack from NECA. This set is part of the convention exclusive DC Comics vs Dark Horse Comics sets that NECA is producing. When originally announced, the 2-packs were meant to be retail releases. However, licensing issues caused the sets to be delayed. Ultimately, NECA was able to negotiate the release of each set, though only as convention exclusives. This set was a San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Exclusive, along with a Batman vs Predator set (gallery coming soon). The 2-pack is based on the Superman vs Aliens comics, which had two series. The first was in 1995, while the second series debuted in 2002.

With this set, you get a newly sculpted Superman figure, as well as an Alien Warrior figure. Superman includes a few interchangeable parts, such as different portraits, hands, and heat vision effects. Our friends at NECA provided the figures for review. NECA FAN EVENT 2019 Splash

Yesterday was the NECA fan event at Yestercades in Westfield NJ, close to their corporate HQ. They invited fans out to chat, see some new stuff up close and personal and of course play some games! Joe Moore and I attended the event – we shared some things out on social yesterday and rounded up some info nuggets / posted a video of the Q n A session last night (which you can see here). NECA Club Exclusive Alien 025

Back in 2017, The NECA Store launched the Alien Club. Fans of NECA’s Aliens line could sign up and get that years Aliens figures directly from NECA. The draw was that you would get the figures directly from the NECA warehouse, essentially around the same time they would hit the NECA eBay and Amazon stores. Members received a 2-part Kenner Aliens diorama, and there was an exclusive figure. Fans who kept their membership up throughout 2017 had the opportunity to pre-order the Kenner Tribute Purple Alien Warrior. The figures colors are based on the Alien artwork that appeared in Kenner’s card art for the toy line.

The figure has been delayed all through 2018. But I am happy to share some great news with fans who have been waiting for an update. By this Monday, June 10th, the Purple Alien Warrior will begin shipping to customers! Fans in the U.S. will receive theirs directly from NECA. Fans in the U.K. and Europe who ordered the figure will have a slight delay, as the figure is shipping to their local distributors who will mail them out to fulfill orders.

To commemorate the long awaited release, I have a special first look gallery and review! Our friends at NECA have supplied us with the figure that’s shipping next week, I run it through a new photo gallery. After the jump, check out my photo shoot and thoughts on the new figure. and keep an eye on your mailboxes, as the figure should be in hands very soon!
