Bandai Collectibles Wondercon 22 99

Bandai Collectibles, formerly Bluefin Brands are set up at Wondercon 2022 out in LA this weekend and have some new goodies on display.  Storm Collectibles is distributed through them in the US so they were there and had Liu Kang and a prototype Kano on display.  Sentinel’s Into the Spiderverse Peni Parker and SP//dr were there as well.  On the Dragonball front, nothing new but the Super Hero Gohan and others were out showing off.  Lastly a couple shots of S.H. Figuarts Naruto and Blitzway Voltron in both modes were shown.

ROBO DOU Voltron ThreeZero 011

ThreeZero has posted the product page for their upcoming ROBO-DOU Voltron Figure. The new photos gives us our first look at the individual lions, as well as giving us a better idea of the articulation and accessories. when fully assembled, Voltron will stand at 10.6″ tall. He’s cast in a diecast metal main frame, and a metallic finish. Between the individual lions and the fully formed Voltron, there will be over 124 points of articulation as ThreeZero’s goal is to have the greatest range of motion possible. The figure includes the Blazing Sword and the Spinning Laser Blade, and each lion includes their own weapons.

Pre-orders are set to go live on Thursday, February 24th at 8:00 PM EST. Pricing has not been revealed at this time. It’s scheduled to ship out i nthe Third Quarter of the year. You can see full details and the new photos by reading on.

You can now pre-order the ROBO-DOU Voltron. ThreeZero has updated their product page, and the set is priced at $299.

ROBO DOU Voltron Preview

A new preview photos has been released by ThreeZero. It gives us a great look at their upcoming ROBO-DOU Voltron Figure. We originally saw the figure when it was on display at WonHobby 35 earlier this month. We know that when fully formed, Voltron will stand about 12″ tall. We will update when further details are released. For now, you can see the new preview image by clicking the banner photo above.

WonHobby 35 ThreeZero 002

A few new items from ThreeZero were on display at WonHobby 35 in Japan. They have shared a gallery of their display from the event. They have new figures from Voltron, Marvel, and Ultraman on display. You can see their details below, and the new photos after the jump.

From the anime ‘ULTRAMAN’ Season 2, threezero’s FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO SUIT (Anime Version) and FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT Ver7 (Anime Version) Weapon Set are revealed! Additionally, FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TIGA SKY TYPE and FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TIGA POWER TYPE from the ‘ULTRAMAN SUIT ANOTHER UNIVERSE’ project are coming soon!

Furthermore, we are proud to announce for the first time ROBO-DOU Voltron from the popular 80’s U.S. anime series ‘Voltron: Defender of the Universe,’ plus ROBO-DOU Tekkaman (threezero Redesign) inspired from the classic Japanese anime in the 70’s ‘Tekkaman, The Space Knight’! The samples of these items together with our latest DLX Iron Man figures are currently being displayed at WonHobby Gallery with two panels, all taking place in Japan starting today!

Carbotix Series Lion Voltron 001

Blitzway has shared a new set of photos for the upcoming 5Pro Studio x Blitzway “Carbotix” Series Voltron. The fully articulated figure will include the five lions that make up Voltron, each with their own weapons for their lion modes, light up LED eyes, and tiny pilots positioned in the cockpits. A second set of piltos is included for display outside of the lions. Also includes are a Blazing Sword, a spear, a shield, additional weapons, swap out faces for Voltron, and a display stand. the stand acts as storage for the weapons and pieces, and can also be used to display each of the lions in flight.

Pre-orders are scheduled to go live on July 28th. Pricing and release date have not been announced. You can see all of the new photos after the jump.

Knight Rider ReAction Figure Preview

Solicitations have gone out, and the first preview images have been released, for some upcoming ReAction Figures from Super7. Included are:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Mondo Gecko

WF2021 5Pro x Blitzway Voltron 008

During Wonder Festival 2021 in Shanghai, 5Pro Studio announced a collaboration with Blitzway for a new transforming Lion Voltron release. The 5Pro Studio x Blitzway “Carbotix” Series Voltron. Soul of Chogokin Lion Voltron Reissue 015

Tamashii Nations has announced that the Soul of Chogokin – GX-71 Beast King GoLion (aka Lion Voltron) is getting re-released. The figure was originally released back in 2016, and is back by popular demand. The figure features all five individual lions, each fully articulated, that can combine to form Voltron. The combined Voltron stands over 10.5″ tall. It will include a number of weapons and accessories. A large figure stand is included that can store the weapons. It features a mix of plastic and diecast metal parts.

The Soul of Chogokin Lion Voltron is scheduled for re-release in August 2021. It is priced at 30,000 Yen (about $282 USD). You can see some photos after the jump.

Super7 has released a new Voltron ReAction 3.75″ Figure. Based on the classic 80’s cartoon, the lion Voltron figure includes a Blazing Sword accessory. Obviously, at this scale, the figure does not convert to individual lions. Voltron is priced at $18. You can order the figure directly from the Super7 Store. Super7 has opened up pre-orders for their second Voltron action figure. The new version features a color scheme inspired by the classic toys. They have also updated the articulation.
