NYCC 2019 Green Lantern vs Sinestro Corps Predator 003

NECA has posted up photos and details for their final DC Comics vs Dark Horse Comics 2-Pack. Like the previously revealed Batman vs Joker Alien 2-Pack, this set is a New York Comic-Con 2019 Exclusive. Details on how to obtain the sets will be revealed later this week. This set features Green Lantern vs Sinestro Corps Predator. The Green Lantern figure includes swap out heads to display as either Hal Jordan or John Stewart. He also includes an interchangeable hand, ring effects pieces, and a power lantern. The Sinestro Corps Predator includes interchangeable hands, masked an unmasked portraits, a shuriken, a combistick, and a sword. Check out details below, and the photos after the jump.

Green Lantern (Classic) – 7” Scale Action Figures – Green Lantern and “Sinestro Corps” Predator 2-Pack

This action figure 2-pack is inspired by a classic comic book mash-up! In a 2008 story arc of the #GreenLantern comic book, the already fearsome Yautja join the Sinestro Corps to attack the Earth, armed now with power rings.

The set includes two brand new, 7” scale comic book based figures, both with over 30 points of articulation. Green Lantern features interchangeable head sculpts and comes with lamp, attachable burst effects and interchangeable hand. The Predator features two heads, detachable backpack, interchangeable hands, sword, spear and more!

UPDATE: For non-attendees, the DC vs Dark Horse sets will only be available as a bundle, which will be priced at $120. At New York Comic-Con, attendees can buy them individually for $60 each.

Batman Joker Alien NYCC 14

NECA have revealed the full set of official pics for the DC vs Dark Horse Batman vs Joker Alien 2 pack. The set will be a New York Comic Con exclusive. It will pair with the yet to be revealed Green Lantern vs. Sinestro Corps Predator. No word yet on price, quantity or online ordering options, stay tuned. Check the pics after the break!

Batman/Aliens – 7” Scale Action Figures – Batman and “Joker” Alien 2-Pack

This action figure 2-pack is inspired by a classic comic book mash-up! In the 1997 Batman/Aliens comic book mini-series co-published by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics.

In it, #Batman faces strange new Aliens produced using DNA from some of Arkham Asylum’s deadliest inmates. The set includes two brand new, comic book based figures, both with over 30 points of articulation. Batman features a fabric cape, and the “Joker” Alien has a bendable tail.

Alien 3 Creature Set 026

Available in stores now is the Alien 3 Creature Pack from NECA Toys. This add-on pack for their Alien 3 figures includes mix of creatures from the film, deleted scenes, and a concept figure. The set includes the Rottweiler Spike, who was unfortunate enough to come in contact with a Facehugger. Spike includes  standard portrait and a damaged one. You also get the Bambi Burster, which is the smaller form of the Dog Alien. Next up is the Queen Facehugger, also known as the Royal Facehugger from a deleted scene in the film. Finally, the Queen Chestburster is included, which is what the Queen Alien would have theoretically looked like had it not been killed with Ripley at the end of the film.

Alien Resurrection Warrior Released 003

Last week, the Aliens Series 14 – Ripley 8 Figure dropped on the NECA store fronts. Today, they have added the Aliens Resurrection Warrior 7″ Scale Figure to the NECA eBay Store and the NECA Amazon Store. This is the second figure from Aliens Series 14, who joins not only Ripley 8, but the Newborn Alien Deluxe Figure and the Resurrection Alien Queen. The Resurrection Alien Warrior is priced at $23.99 plus shipping. It should be available in stores later this month.

Sinestro Corps Predator

For New York Comic-Con 2019, the final two sets of DC Comics vs Dark Horse 2-Packs will be available from NECA. The first two; Batman vs Predator and Superman vs Alien, were available as SDCC 2019 Exclusives. The new 2-packs will include Batman vs The Joker Alien, and Green Lantern vs a Sinestro Corps Predator. Today, we have our first look at that Sinestro Corps Predator 7″ Scale Figure, thanks to a new preview posted by NECA. We’ll update with more photos and details once they are available. The Aliens Series 14 – Ripley 8 Figure from Alien: Resurrection is available now from the NECA eBay Store and the NECA Amazon Store.The figure includes two guns, the Draco Double Burner and the Lacrima 99 Shockrifle, a basketball, and interchangeable hands. The figure is priced at $23.99 plus shipping. Look for the Resurrection Alien Warrior to be released soon. The figures begin shipping to retailers on August 14th, and should hit stores by the end of August.

Resurrection Newborn Alien 029

Set 200 years after the events of the third film, Alien: Resurrection sees the return of Ellen Ripley as a clone and human Xenomorph hybrid. Military scientist use old samples of Ripley’s blood, and mix in DNA from the Xenomorphs to create cloned Ripley that is impregnated with a queen. Once they are successful with Ripley 8, the Alien Queen is used to birth a series of new Xenomorphs that can be studied. With Xenomorph DNA running through her veins, Ripley 8 is stronger, faster and psychically linked to the Alien threat. At the end of the film, the Alien Queen births a completely new hybrid, now known as the Newborn Alien.

After tackling most of the other Alien creatures, and many of the non-Xenomorphs from throughout the franchise, NECA is now releasing a series of figures based on Alien: Resurrection. The assortment will include Ripley 8, the Resurrection Xenomorph, a repaint of their Alien Queen, and a Deluxe Newborn Alien. Today I have a photo gallery and review of the Newborn Alien. The new Alien: Resurrection – Newborn Alien 7″ Scale Deluxe Figure is available now via the NECA eBay Store and the NECA Amazon Store. This release pairs with Aliens Series 14 to form a full assortment of Alien: Resurrection Figures. The 11″ tall figure has over 30 points of articulation, and will include a figure stand. It will ship out to retailers at the end of July, and will be in stores by early August. You can get it early at the links above. The figure is priced at $29.99 plus shipping.

From Alien: Resurrection, the fourth movie in the thrilling sci-fi series! Two hundred years after Ripley’s death, military scientists are attempting to clone Ripley in order to extract the Queen embryo that was in her body when she died… And on the eighth attempt, they succeed.

Contaminated with Ripley’s DNA, the Queen gives birth to a grotesque human/alien hybrid called the “Newborn.” The Newborn action figure stands approximately 11” tall and includes a display stand. The Newborn features a screen-accurate sculpt and almost 30 points of articulation.

NECA Ultimate Dog Alien 012

An updated version of the Alien 3 – Dog Alien is coming from NECA Toys. At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, they revealed the Ultimate Dog Alien 7″ Scale Figure. According to the newly released product description, this is a new sculpt with updated articulation. It will also include a green Queen Chestburster (as seen in Alien 3 Marketing) and a standard Queen Chestburster. It will be released in October. Check out the official pics after the jump.

Back by popular demand and better than ever, it’s the Dog Alien from 1992’s Alien 3!

The canine Xenomorph has received the deluxe treatment, with an all-new sculpt featuring improved articulation (over 30 points!), including an extendable inner mouth and bendable tail. The Dog Alien is over 9” long, and comes with a coiled Queen burster with stand and a chestburster.
