Disney and Lego Sign Licensing Agreement

Featuring a postal worker, two Space-astronauts, a Pirate, and even a Ninja, it is surely a set you must have!

Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair 2009 LEGO Report

The Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair was viewed by Kris Abel of CTV.CA, who posted at his blog (http://krisabel.ctv.ca/blog/toys).

He posted images of the LEGO Summer 2009 sets, including Star Wars sets (Corporate Alliance Droid, Separatist Shuttle, Battle of Endor, Echo Base, Y-Wing), Indiana Jones sets (Chauchilla Cemetery Battle, Venice Canal Chase, Fighter Plane Attack), Castle sets (Drawbridge Defense, Trolls’ Mountain Fortress), Space Police sets (Galactic Enforcer, Container Heist), Bionicle sets (Cendox V1, Kaxium V3, Baranus V7, Thornatus V9, Skopio XV-1), and Power Miners sets (Titanium Command Rig).

Also included was images of a Power Miners rock monster and a lego Chewbacca! Enjoy!

A banner at a LEGO store revealed the new LEGO space-related theme to replace Mars Mission- Space Police!

Although this are preliminary images, we can expect this sets to be released later this year!

LEGO Star Wars Venator-Class Star Destroyer

A new LEGO set has been revealed- the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser! It is a part of the LEGO Star Wars line, and in Star Wars continuity, is known as the Venator-Class Star Destroyer that serviced the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.

The set includes the Venator-Class Star Destroyer, and five mini-figures, Senator Palpatine (in red, new mini-figure), a duo of Senate Commandos (in blue, new mini-figure), and a duo of Clone Troopers.
