MattyCollector has posted news that Skeletor will see another reissue next week.

We’ve just confirmed that Old Bones will arrive in time for a special sale at 12:00 noon Eastern (9:00am Pacific) on Wednesday, January 27th. This figure is identical to the one that sold out in record time on 12/15, so you’re definitely going to want to be logged in and ready to click for your chance at Skeletor®, Evil Lord of Destruction™!

Because the sale date is so close, we don’t have time to get an email reminder into production and won’t be able to send one. If you’re following me on Twitter, I tweet about all sales so I’ll remind you there as well as Facebook.

MattyCollector has updated their website mentioning the re-release of Man At Arms on February 15. This figure is re-released with no changes other than a packaging burst stating “The Original” on the front right corner that calls out his lineage from the 1984 line.

Other figures being released that day include Trap Jaw, Wun-Dar, Battle Cat, and Castle Greyskull diorama and stands.

MattyCollector posted on Facebook new images of Battle Armor He-Man.

Just got in early packaged samples of the first variant of He-Man in his all new Battle Armor!

He-Man comes with removable chest armor with a pop out chest plate. Just snape in any one of the three chest plates to recreate the look of the spinning armor mechanism from the vintage toy. This toy does not feature a spinning tumble, but does include all three chest plates – standard, one smash, and my personal favorite, two smashes!

He also comes with his heroic Battle Axe just like in the famous painting of Battle Armor He-Man on top of Battle Cat. (anyone have the art book?)

And speaking of Battle Cat. We just got samples of him in package too, but the corners are all bent up. Bleh. We’ll try to fix it up and make it photo ready and get that up soon too. The final toy will obvioulsy have a perfect package. (or as close as possible!)

ToonZone reports that Nickelodeon has acquired the global rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which includes, tv, movies, toys, and other merchandise.

NEW YORK—Oct. 21, 2009—Furthering its mission to provide premium content to its audiences, Nickelodeon—part of MTV Networks, a division of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B)—has acquired the global rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from The Mirage Group and 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: KDE). The acquisition provides Nickelodeon, the world’s number-one entertainment brand for kids, global intellectual property rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the hit television, film and video game property that has delighted kids around the world for the last 25 years. The aggregate purchase price for the transactions is approximately $60 million.

Nickelodeon also announced plans to develop a new CG-animated television series based on the popular superhero franchise, anticipated to premiere in 2012. Additionally, in partnership with Viacom’s Paramount Pictures, a new release of a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film is also planned for 2012. Nickelodeon has also acquired all merchandising rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and will continue to work with its original and long-standing toy partner, Playmates Toys, which has been the creative force behind the successful TMNT master toy program over the last two decades.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shares a comedic sensibility with the Nickelodeon DNA, with added layers of action and fantasy that have kept this property an evergreen favorite with multiple generations of audiences,” said Cyma Zarghami, President, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. “We are extremely happy to have the opportunity to be able to focus on this property and creatively re-introduce it to a new generation of kids.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is based on four mutant turtles–trained in the art of Ninjitsu–who battle evil from the New York sewers. Bandai has announced that they will be bringing back the popular series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in a new toy line.
