Final in-packaging photos have been released for the upcoming Gremlins – Santa Stripe and Gizmo Figures by NECA. The newest Gremlins release is part of NECA’s tribute to the classic advertising campaign for the film. The first was a Summer Games Gremlin, followed by the Back To School Gremlin. Keep an eye on the (sold out) Pre-Order Page for it to come in stock. It’s set for release some time this holiday season. You can see the new images after the jump.

Although Gremlins released to theaters in the Summer of 1984, it went on to become a classic horror/comedy Christmas movie! Get into the holiday spirit with Santa Stripe, the leader of the mischievous monsters known as gremlins. Based off of a classic marketing ad in 1984, Stripe is dressed in a fabric Santa disguise complete with belt, Santa cap, and fuzzy beard; Stripe also comes with a Gizmo accessory he can fit into his cloth gift sack. Comes in window box packaging.

A press release has been posted by Radar Licensing on their Facebook Page. Radar’s properties include a number of iconic horror franchises, including those from Hammer Horror. Fans of classic horror will know the Hammer Films brand for featuring iconic actors such as Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in numerous roles, such as Dracula. The press release details series of new licensing agreements that will see Hammer Horror action figures, toys, and other collectibles from companies such as NECA, Sideshow collectibles, MEGO, Trick or Treat Studios, Mondo, and more. Radar’s Hammer licenses include Horrors of Dracula, The Brides of Dracula, The Curse of Frankenstein, The Curse of the Werewolf, and The Mummy. Check out the press release below. We’ll update with more details as they become available.
Hammer House of Horror Takes Its Rightful Place In Horror Pantheon With Launch of Merchandising Program
Radar Licensing is proud to announce initial license partners for its Hammer House of Horror merchandise program featuring Hammer Films’ Dracula, Frankenstein’s Creature, The Mummy, and other memorable monsters.
Hammer came to prominence as the world’s most popular horror brand in the late 1950s. The company’s unrivaled legacy is the bridge that connects Universal’s classic monsters to the contemporary horror classics that began in the 1970s. In the 21st century Hammer has continued to expand its extraordinary canon with new movies that have been both commercially successful and critically acclaimed.
Paste magazine included Hammer’s 1950s classics The Curse of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula on their October 2020 list of “The 100 Best Horror Movies Of All Time”. Paste writes “if you were going to put together the ultimate, time-spanning Dracula film, you’d choose this version of the vampire, as played by the regal, intimidating Christopher Lee at the height of his powers. Horror of Dracula is simply a gorgeous movie, with lush, gothic settings—crypts, foggy graveyards, and stately manors—photographed with the Golden Age charm of Technicolor.”
Many people may have forgotten that Christopher Lee’s portrayal of Dracula not only established the character having fangs and wearing a black cape with a red lining but was also the first to present Dracula as a ferocious monster with sexual appeal.
Joining in the celebration are such stellar companies as NECA (wide range of toy figures), Sideshow (collectible statues), Merch Traffic (upper body apparel), Aquarius (playing cards, puzzles, fun boxes, ceramic mugs, magnets, posters, buttons), MEGO (MEGO figures), Mondo (limited edition prints), and Trick or Treat Studios (masks and 12″ collectible figures).
Radar Licensing President David Imhoff, who as head of licensing for New Line Cinema for 18 years was responsible for establishing Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Leatherface in the consumer product space, says he could not be more excited to be representing Hammer House of Horror on behalf of Hammer Films Ltd. and Aisle 19 Solutions.
“One of my favorite childhood memories is my 3rd-grade birthday party seeing a Hammer double bill that introduced me to Christopher Lee as Dracula. I was hooked right then and there on Hammer’s gothic horror universe and it certainly influenced my passion for horror films over my career. I’m also excited by the fact that so many wonderful companies, and horror fans worldwide, share my love of Hammer Horror films.”
Hammer House of Horror merchandise will begin hitting stores this month, with the full launch set for 2021.
Sideshow Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for their upcoming The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – Leatherface 1/6 Scale Figure. The figure includes two interchangeable portraits, multiple interchangeable hands, a chainsaw, a hammer, a knife, a removable jacket, and a removable apron. It’s priced at $245, and is scheduled for release between May and July 2021. Check out info below, and photos after the jump.
Sideshow presents the Leatherface Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure, an articulated horror collectible figure who just can’t wait to meat you.
Inspired by the haunting final scenes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), the Leatherface Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure features a carefully tailored costume as the killer cannibal dresses for a feast with the rest of the Sawyer family. Leatherface wears a fabric dinner jacket, collared shirt, patterned necktie, and fabric pants as a part of his formalwear, as well as sculpted cowboy boots. The first of the figure’s two portraits, known as the “pretty woman” mask, accompanies the suited look with sculpted curled hair, disturbing stitched elements, and a smattering of makeup on the false skin exterior, giving Leatherface his iconic, terrifying appearance from the pulse-pounding ending of the film.
The Leatherface Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure includes a number of accessories and alternate costume elements to change up his southern style. Swap to the “old lady” mask portrait and distressed fabric apron to recreate even more scenes surrounding the sickening dinner climax of the film. The figure features a padded fabric undersuit to fill out the silhouette and includes Bubba’s tools of the trade for the family meat business- a chainsaw, an antler-handle knife, and a mallet. The killer cannibal comes with eight hands, including a pair of fists, a pair of grip hands, a pair of open hands, and a pair of posed gesture hands for interacting with his accessories, finishing the look with a charm bracelet for his wrist.
Rev up the chainsaw and carve out a space for the Leatherface Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure in your horror collection today.
