Looks like even more DC Multiverse listing are popping up. No pics yet, but the Suicide Squad is getting a Collect To Build wave. Listings appeared on ToysonFire.ca. We assume it’s movie related, but it could be their comic counterparts. The wave consists of Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Polka-Dot Man, and Peacemaker. No word on the CTB figure either, but a good guess might be King Shark. Eta is Oct/Nov 2021. Stay tuned for an official announcement and pics.
A while back we shared some new TMNT listings that had no pics and hadn’t officially been announced. They were for various 2 packs from Playmates. They still haven’t been officially announced, but we now have some pics :). Thanks to Toyark Forum Member jwyss234 via Australian retailer popcultcha.com we have looks at Leonardo vs. Rocksteady and Michelangelo vs. Bebop. These are using the Classic molds from years back in slightly tweaked colors.
They are retailing for $62 AUD, which is about $48 USD. ETA is August 2021.
Also listed but without pics – Donatello vs. Shredder and Raphael vs. Triceraton. This is interesting because Shredder and Triceratron never had Classic scale molds from Playmates. Stay tuned!
Thanks to Toyark forum member ThorOdinson123 via preterniadotcom we have a look at a Previews Catalog page which shows off 5 new DC Multiverse figures. Included are Armored Batman from the Dark Knight Returns comic, The Demon (Etrigan) from the Demon Knights books, King Shazam from The Infected, Shriek Unmasked from Batman Beyond, and Wonder Woman designed by Todd McFarlane.
No word on exact release dates but this is in Previews so the wave should be available at most retailers. Most of these have floated about via international retailers recently with no pics. Stay tuned for the official reveals with better pics!

X-Plus shared new pics and details for a fresh Godzilla 2000 offering. A soft vinyl replica of a previous maquette for Godzilla 2000 is being done. The original model was done by designer Yuji Sakai and this will be based on that, with his oversight. Check out their statement below and get more details over on the X-Plus website. He’s set to retail for 30,000 yen (about 275 USD) and be released in December 2021. Of note – only 500 will be made, and orders will be via lottery at select hobby shops.
Godzilla 2000: Millennium (released in 1999) was a much-awaited Godzilla film for fans, whose production was announced after a four-year hiatus following the previous installment in the franchise. Thanks to cooperation from TOHO Co., Ltd., after 22 long years, a replica will finally be released of the famous Maquette that is now revered among Godzilla fans as a masterpiece!
The piece was initially conceived during production of the new Godzilla film as a test model by Yuji Sakai, who collaborated as a designer on the film! This highly anticipated soft vinyl replica is being produced based on the original clay model created by Yuji Sakai as Real Master Collection Godzilla 2000 Millennium Maquette Replica – Soft Vinyl Version.
With Mr. Sakai overseeing the molding and coloring of the replica, the details of the original have been reproduced and extra focus has been given to reducing any sort of wear resulting from the use of soft vinyl material. It includes a plate featuring a caption for the model which helps give it a truly majestic aura.
Now is your chance to enjoy this amazingly intricate and timeless model! Modeled and produced by Yuji Sakai Planning coordinator: SAKAI YUJI Zokei Kobo
McFarlane is not playing around with this DC stuff, a lot is releasing this year and specifically over the last month or so. Last week we took a look at 7 figures. Today we are looking at 8 more. This round is a mixed bag of themes. Several from Wave 5 single releases including John Stewart Green Lantern, Bizarro (see Joker Nightwing in last week’s gallery). Then we have two Batman Beyond figures – variants of each other. One is a Collect To Build release and one has additional effects and a stand, each with a different head. A two pack featuring a repaint of Dark Nights Devastator and a wave 1 Superman reprint with a new head. And to wrap it all up, the first two Injustice video game figures of The Flash and Gorilla Grodd.
We’ve run them all for over 150 HD shots. Read on to check them out along with some additional thoughts, some of which come courtesy of McFarlane Toys!
ICYMI: We’ve covered most of the line so far, you can check our galleries for it all here – Toyark’s McFarlane DC Multiverse Galleries
Spawn’s Universe is a new initiative from Todd McFarlane to expand the Spawn… uh… Universe beyond the traditional single Spawn book. This will bring in all the supporting characters, alternate versions of Spawn and more under one roof. In addition to multiple books, we are also getting some toys! A teaser image has been shared showing off figures that we’ve seen tucked away in product videos and the like over the last several months. Included are:
Tentative – awaiting confirmation on the below:
• Raven Spawn – 7 Inch Wave 1 – $24.99
• Gunslinger Spawn – 7 Inch Wave 1 – $24.99
• Redeemer – 7 Inch Wave 1 – $24.99
• Clown – 7 Inch DLX – $39.99
• Violator – 7 Inch Mega – $49.99
On top of seeing them full on, they are also set to drop soon, August 2021. PreviewsWorld.com has them listed already so most comic shops and online retailers should have these guys available for pre-order soon. Toyark Forum member jwyss234 also let us know they are in the Target and Gamestop systems, so assume larger retailers will have them as well.
We are not 100% on the make up of the waves – one of those above could be a Build a Figure and not part of wave 1. Stay tuned for more details!
Quick set for a recent Four Horsemen Mythic Legions release! We are taking a look at The Mythic Legions Arethyr and Aethon 2 Pack, along with the 1/12 articulated horse Balius. All of these recently started shipping from Four Horsemen direct, and are working their way out to other retailers now. I’ve been grabbing random Mythic Legions over the last couple years and really dig their demon style dudes. Arethyr is the most demony so far, and he now has a gangster steed to roll with, Aethon. This, along with the standard 1/12 horse Balius are 4H’s first foray into articulated horses. I’d expect more styles to come for sure.
Read on to check out some quick additional thoughts and look at the our shots for them. If you find one in the wild for a reasonable price, worth the pick up!
The Infinity Saga is getting a lot of needed attention in Marvel Legends of late with upgraded and deep roster releases for some of it’s key moments. ANOTHER new drop was revealed today with Iron Monger from the Iron Man movies. This is 6 inch scale, and he was big, so it’s big. Retailing at about $74 USD, we get an Obadiah Stane figure along with his Iron Monger suit! Check the details below and hit our sponsors to pick up your copies!
Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Iron Man Iron Monger 6-Inch Scale Action Figure
The Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Iron Man Iron Monger 6-Inch Scale Action Figures set is amazing – and that’s not just like our opinion, man. The 6-inch Obadiah Stane figure comes with a suitcase and some gear – and his custom-built, Stark-derived Iron Monger suit! It’s big. It has a lot of articulation. And it’s not enough to stop Tony Stark (sold separately), despite its bigness and power. Ages 8 and up.
Time for a look at the most recent batch of Hasbro’s Kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters figures! These are reissues of the originals, in retro inspired boxes and all. The first batch featured the 4 primary Ghostbusters, Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Now we get the epic Ecto-1 and two ghosts – Fearsome Flush and Bug-Eye Ghost.
All of these retain their original gimmicks for maximum nostalgia. The seat inside Ecto-1 can pop on the top or hang out the back for on the fly ghost catching. The retractable claw can extend out and pull back in when the wheels move forward. Doors open for the crew to sit inside. On the ghost front, Bug-Eye’s giant eyeball fires out when you squeeze him, attached with a string. Mr. Flush has rolling action, where he “transforms” on a roll – eyes popping out of the tank and a tongue / teeth coming from the lid. I think I’ve run into this guy a couple times over the years actually…
All in all they are well done pieces that hit home for those that collected the original line. These are dropping soon at Walmart in the US, and are available via UK Hasbro Pulse for our international friends.
We’ve shot some quick pics showing them off, check them out after the break. All of these come courtesy of Hasbro, thanks to them for sending these through!
