Sideshow Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for their Darth Vader Star Wars Mythos Statue. The statue stands nearly 25″ tall. It features a heavily damaged Darth Vader on a display base featuring a burning X-Wing engine. Two portraits are included. the first features a Darth Vader helmet, while the second is of an unmasked Anakin Skywalker. A Sideshow Exclusive Edition includes a third portrait, with Anakin visible underneath a damaged Darth Vader helmet.

The Darth Vader Mythos Statue is priced at $630, while the Exclusive Edition is priced at $650. It is due for release between January and March of 2023. You can pre-order directly from Sideshow Collectibles. Read on for photos and full details.

Darth Maul Mythos Statue 003

Fans can now pre-order a new Star Wars Mythos – Darth Maul Statue from Sideshow Collectibles. Featuring an updated look for the Mythos line, the Darth Maul statue is fully sculpted with no fabric elements. The statue is cast in polystone. It stands over 23″ tall, on a crumbling Palpatine monument base. Darth Maul wields his dual bladed Lightsaber, and will include two swap out portraits. One portrait features a classic look for Darth Maul, while the other has more elongated horns and an alternate expression.

Sideshow is excited to unveil the next addition to the Star Wars Collectibles Mythos series, the Boba Fett Sixth Scale Figure.

As a collection, Sideshow’s Mythos series are fine art collectibles that allow the collector to imagine what could have been but maybe never was. Myths meant to be initiated by the eye and completed by the mind.

The Boba Fett Sixth Scale Figure captures the galactic legend of this feared bounty hunter in a never-before-seen way. Boba Fett features uniquely sculpted Mandalorian armor, including his iconic helmet with an articulating rangefinder, a flight suit and vest with body plate armor, knee pads, and weaponized wrist gauntlets. Each aspect of the newly crafted armor is detailed with distinctive Mythos weathering effects, telling the story of many hard-fought battles to capture some of the galaxy’s most elusive bounty. Boba Fett’s unique costume also includes a worn fabric poncho, a kama skirt with utility pouches, ankle spats, and several belts with side and waist pouches.

The Boba Fett Sixth Scale Figure packs a full arsenal of dangerous weaponry, including a removable Z-6 jetpack with articulating rocket boosters, four multi-purpose shin tools, and a tactical knife with an ankle-mounted sheath. He also features a variety of firepower, including an EE-3 carbine blaster rifle, a concussion grenade launcher, a BlasTech DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle with camo wrapping, and a Sacros K-11 blaster pistol. The figure comes with eight interchangeable hands, including a pair of fists, a pair of neutral hands, a pair of grip hands, a right trigger hand, and a left rifle support hand.

Back in 2012, Sideshow Collectibles introduced collectors to their Star Wars Mythos Obi-Wan Kenobi Statue. The Mythos series featured new takes on existing characters, portraying them from unexplored periods in their lives. Now Sideshow is taking that approach, and bringing one of these designs to the 1/6 scale figure realm. Photos and details have been released for their Star Wars Mythos – Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth Scale Figure. The figure shows Obi-Wan between Episodes III and IV, as he becomes the hermit of Tatooine known as Ben. Sideshow is thrilled to introduce a return to the world of Star Wars Mythos with the Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth Scale Figure.

As a series, Sideshow’s Star Wars Mythos brings new and unique story details to popular characters from the well-loved Star Wars saga, emphasizing themes of honor, hope, and adventure to portray them in a new light.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth Scale Figure captures the period in the Jedi’s life as envisioned prior to A New Hope, following Revenge of the Sith. He features a detailed likeness as imagined by Sideshow artists to represent an aged Ben Kenobi who has witnessed the destruction of the Jedi order at the hands of the Empire.

Obi-Wan comes with a unique, tailored fabric costume featuring his Jedi tunic with tabards, pants, and sash, his Jedi belt, a sleeveless robe, and a nomad pack that he carries with him across the wastes of Tatooine. The figure comes with 3 sets of hands including force hands, fists, and grip hands, and an additional right trigger hand for a variety of action poses.

Each artifact and memento carried by Obi-Wan holds history and represents a step of his nomadic journey across Tatooine, waiting to introduce a new hope to the galaxy. The figure features Obi-Wan’s lightsaber with a removable hilt, as well as Qui-Gonn Jinn and Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber hilts.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Sixth Scale Figure comes equipped with a modified Tusken rifle and 2 gaffi sticks, and technology necessary for survival such as a portable moisture vaporator, a grappling hook, a droid caller, and macrobinoculars. Obi-Wan also has goggles and Clone Wars armor as remnants of his noble past.

Sideshow has announced a new line of Star Wars Statues. They will be calling the new line Star Wars: Mythos.

“The Star Wars Universe is limitless with possibilities, its mythology ever-expanding. Our art team wanted to contribute to that expansion by telling new stories about some of the most compelling Star Wars characters. With the encouragement of Lucasfilm, we created the Mythos line of statues.

This line of collectibles will be populated by characters from new and existing story lines. We will bring history, unique details and personal choices to each in order to elaborate on who they are. Through the design and sculpt process our goal is to delve deeper into these established characters and offer our own interpretations of what they have done outside of the Star Wars canon.

Our art team is taking the themes and core concepts common to the Star Wars mythology, such as love, honor, hope, despair and adventure, and accentuating those themes to achieve a collection of figures unlike any we’ve previously offered. Our vision is to portray moments in the imagined lifetimes of these characters and reveal them in a new way, in a new light. We hope to capture the imagination of Star Wars fans all over the world, and share with them our own adventures in that galaxy far, far away.”
