I think about the only ML figure I want anymore is Air Walker. I've gotten burned out on ML

I don't hate the look, it's comic accurate. And early comic Yondu wasn't some red neck with shitty teeth like the MCU one. Well at least I imagined him to be more of a native American or Avatar like alien warrior. Could have added a pair of daggers if they want to go with early Yondu.

I hear you. There are still quite a few dial-ups that would move the needle for me, especially on the cosmic/god(s) tip, but the routine frustrations revolving around character and costume choice have me definitely looking for an exit.

This Yondu is fine and kudos to Hasbro for the accuracy, but there are so many others that I would have preferred come ahead of this, even as it regards the OG Guardians. Martinex as one of the most interesting – don’t mess that up Legends team; a simple retool of AoA Iceman will not be enough (but will also, very likely, be the route chosen). Charlie-27 will also make for an interesting set piece – ditto on messing that up Legends team as he is a little trickier than some might believe particularly if little attention is paid to the ways in which various artists have illustrated the character (massively/inhumanly broad, while also being the same height as most 6’ heroes). And Starhawk, which, of the original crew, is the only one I really wanted – I’d like to have both Stakar and Aleta.

However, for the DnA Guardians run, I have joined numerous consistent calls for cannon versions of Mantis, Bug, Cosmo, Phyla-Vell, and Moondragon. I’m completely convinced that had the attention to detail that’s on display with Yondu been visited upon any of the characters I just named, including the original line-up, there would have been greater buzz for this announcement.

I’ll grab Yondu on consignment/loose, but this marks another Legend that I won’t be nabbing at retail, which means no moneys for Hasbro.

Another Cosmic character I need is from The Silver Surfer Starlin/Lim era. A proper Drax The Destroyer. I've long since given up on Rom.

I respect that you guys aren't that excited about Yondu, but I think if you're going to end up picking this up eventually anyway, and want to have any hope at getting more comic Guardians/Cosmic guys from Legends, why not just pay to play and get it from Hasbro?

Once again Marvel Legends proves its strength and depth by offering a D-List character and how do people respond?

    "Where's so-and-so" and "it's not pinless".

Isn't everyone here done with this company anyway?

Looks like a $35 figure. Everyone who buys this at $25 just know you are sending Daddy Hasbro off to the basic yacht instead of the one with all the bells and whistles!

ROM is something I would love, but the lic. issues are a nightmare. I’d like a 2nd rebirth Drax. I’d also like most of that Infinity Watch team, especially Maxam.

6 to 7 years ago I used to admonish people of exactly what you’ve written. However, after years of bait and switch character/costume choices that come close to while remaining annoyingly adjacent to my wants, I won’t advocate for the creation of false expectations within new converts.

Show me a license that doesn’t feature expectations for whichever fanbase is being mined. Whether it’s Popeye, or Pinocchio – Robocop, or the Terminator – Indiana Jones or Fraggle Rock – fans are pretty persnickety about depictions and the choices of what gets made. If you’re going to strum the chords of my nostalgia, you’d better hit the right notes.

I never said I was out on Marvel Legends, I haven’t reached that point, yet. What I’ve said is, “do better.”

Kind of seems like they flipped the price with this and PS5 Spidey.

Perhaps, and maybe it's just where you're at as a collector right now, but personally I just don't follow the logic behind these self-fulfilling prophecies.

I’ve noticed a pushback against this anti-Hasbro sentiment, especially on IG. Folks are really willing to die on that Hasbro hill, and bashing others who are rightfully pissed off at being priced out of a beloved hobby. It’s so sad.

No logic. I don't buy Legends because it's logical.

I have no attachment to the comics Yondu, but i like Film Yondu. I wish S.H.Figuarts made a Film Yondu. I would be all over it as a S.H.Figuarts MCU Collector. I even got teary eyed to the Death of Yondu scene in Guardian of The Galaxy film. It was touching.

I've noticed also. It's so very very weird.
