Back today with a photo shoot for several recent Threezero Infinity Saga DLX Iron Man figures – Mark XLII from Iron Man 3, Mark XLVI from Captain America Civil War, and Mark L from Avengers Infinity War. These three join a growing lineup of figures including the Mark 43 and Mark 44 aka Hulkbuster which we took a look at a while back. The line so far has focused on Iron Man armors with a couple War Machines thrown in for good luck, but they are expanding out with Black Panther and a teaser for Iron Spider (we’ll do a checklist after the break). All three stand at around 7 inches (though they are listed as a 1/12 scale figure) and come with diecast and high end metallic paint to capture the iron in the Iron Man. We’ve run these three for a quick set of basic shots and a couple fancies to show off what they can do. Read on to check out some quick thoughts and our shots courtesy of Threezero. Hit our sponsors below and/or ThreezeroHK.com to snag your copies, these seen here today are out or shipping soon.
Of note – Iron Man Mark VII from the first Avengers film recently was revealed and went on Pre-Order this week!

Overall Thoughts:
First off I want to thank Threezero for sending through these review copies, and apologize for being a bit late with them. I’ve been on a reduced availability with photography lately. All three of these deserve a massive solo gallery with lots more play time and epics shots each. They are all top notch for their scale and deserve that. However, going the way things are on my end, that could have pushed sharing these into the 2040s or something. :/. So short version, these things are great, look at the pics, and then hit your stores and build your armors. /end truthful plug :).
Hopefully you guys saw our Iron Man MK 43 and 44 galleries which kicked things off for Threezero on the Marvel DLX front. As I said there, fantastic. They continue the mini masterpiece, Hot Toys scaled down style which Comicave and others attempted prior. All at a reasonable price range. These continue that trend. They stay in scale and have the same level of quality with paint, articulation, electronics etc. If you want to build an armory, you’ll have a unified line up when done.
42 captures that Iconic look from Iron Man 3 with gold taking over as the primary color on suit. 46 has a darker tone red as seen in the movie, so depending on the lighting in photos you see around the web, be aware it does run more of a maroon. 50 captures his nano-tech era with Infinity War, and comes with only a couple of the weapons seen. The forthcoming Accessory Pack (not seen here) will beef out your weapon choice, just as other companies have done.
All use the same basic construction and articulation, with back flaps, thigh panels and extending legs allowing for dynamic posting, moving shoulder armor. Each has two battery ports, one for the eyes and one for the chest. Hands are interchangeable and do not light up. Each also comes with a base featuring the armors Mark and the Infinity Saga logo.
All in all I can’t say enough about them. We’ve all seen Iron Man armors in tons of different formats and scales going back over a decade now. The thing that makes these stand out is quality in-hand, they feel great. The look high end on quick glance while on shelf. They are a bit above a US mass retail release price wise, but price is far more manageable than the 1/6 scale armors. So IMO, a great middle ground, pushing more towards the higher end in quality.
Check out our pics below, and here’s a checklist for what’s been revealed so far if you want to catch up.
