The cheap look of these really suits the OG Slayer. Too bad Good Smile just delayed their Figma figure another 5 months....
Hard pass on the lazy Doom Slayer repaints, but the new Doomguy? HELL YES, please.
Still, bummer that Todd couldn't be bothered to make a new weapon or two for him. All he comes with is the tired old shotgun and wristblade. But hell, it's otherwise a great-looking figure and one that's way overdue, even if his articulation unfortunately looks fairly limited.

Shocked to see this line return. Glad to see that at least one has a different weapon. Dissapointed that once again McFarlane neglects international customers by having a US/Canada exclusive especially since said exclusive is the most desirable of the three. That said, apparently shipping is 40 to Canada so it would be crazy high to Australia. Probably end up being cheaper to buy on eBay.
Hoping too see some demons especially now that megafigs are a thing. Some in scale Barons of Mancubus would be really cool.

This figure is fucking sweet. Better articulated than Todd's original Doom Slayer, too...there's actually an elbow swivel this time, so he can actually hold his weapon with two hands! But seriously, I finally have an OG Doomguy, and I couldn't be happier.
Hope you pre-ordered this, 'cause they're already going for $100+ on ebay.

First of all, sad to see another lazy Doom figure repaint by Todd, but whatever.
Second of all, the Figma Doom Slayer figure is FINALLY out. HobbyLink Japan delivered my figure yesterday, and it's awesome. And if you own any of the previous McFarlane Doom Slayer figures and want a weapon other than the tired shotgun/meathook that scales with it, the Figma accessories work with them perfectly.
On the left is the Figma Doom Slayer w/BFG 9000. On the right is the McFarlane classic Doomguy w/Figma chainsaw. Works great! And underneath is the Nendoroid Doom Slayer, which is also amazing.
Does anyone know if the green Doomguys on ebay.co.uk are legit? Todd should've made another run for those of us who missed out.
