What's this make, 1000 Batman variations in just 3 yrs since this line opened? ToddBatverse is a joke!
At least this one is Kal.
Superman Batman? That's kinda cool?
Hey I see Superman, I gotta have it.
Still such a random Elseworld to pull from.
It's not an overly ambitious design to go with. I want to say it's a modified Year 2 Batman but it could have be a modified Infected Superman with Year 2 parts. This clearly is not a neck head.
The mask really screams "Make me Blue AzBats".
I still have the book. The story is… well, it’s okay. Kinda interesting.
It’s hilarious how McFarlane is still making Batman figures. We all know he’ll eventually make pirate Batman, and that’ll sell, too. People out there get so crazy over characters, like Iron Man, Batman, and Spider-Man. There are hundreds of different variations of them and people just eat ‘em up.
Its Superman to comic fans but to everyone else it's still Batman.
That takes me back. Legends of Batman was one of my favorite toylines growing up.
At least this one is Kal.
At least the side eye is gone. So is the mouth, but that's by design.
I feel like these have become more completionist than enthusiast oriented. But that's my take on it.
I guess Hasbro is nearly as bad with Spiderman and Wolverine (nope...).
Hasbro sells women characters, right? I mean the women characters aren't guaranteed pegwarmers... I remember Todd's Jessica Cruz: the paint on the face-sculpt turned out badly... she looked... ugly? Maybe he could hike the quality and sell more than just Batman...
I mean... he's like a Warner Bros CEO telling us that "Wonder Woman can't sell" because Patty Jenkins stopped listening to her comic book advisers for Wonder Woman '84 and thought resurrecting Steve Trevor in another guy's body was "romantic".
Somehow Hasbro has survived on more than Wolverine and Spiderman... maybe we're asking too much "thinking out of the box" from Todd... creator of the "deeply-nuanced" Spawn (about demons punching each other in an explosion of testosterone).

But either way Todd probably won’t make many females until he gets put under fire by feminists, and every day the chances of that happening get higher.
Thank Amazon for another leak

Todd is really scraping the bottom of the bat barrel for batman's to make.

As for the "feminists going after Todd", I'm not certain what that means. I'd like to see Todd make more, higher-quality women characters (my two '84 Wonder Womans don't look good (face wise) though the later comic-based Wonder Woman are much improved.
Beyond that, strictly speaking, Todd's privately owned toy company isn't answerable to political pressure from feminist activist groups. I think you mean "fans like meihuar2006 who want more chances to find their favorite super-heroines in action figure form."
Wow, McFarlane is jacking off so much to Batman that now he has Superman cosplaying as Batman. What a fucking joke this line is. He should have just licensed Batman and let Mattel keep everything else.
well I like it .
Crazy looking character I got to check out the story behind this , I want any red lantern even one as weird as this. not seeing anything but dogs on amazon now ill get it later .
I'm a bit confused where my comment went where I said this figure actually got me in the nostalgia feels because I read and enjoyed Speeding Bullets back around 1994, so this is one Bat/Supe variant that actually appeals to me. The panel of young 'Bruce' having just witnessed his parents murder and then gets angry and heat visions Joe Chill right in the face, always stuck with me. As has 'Bruce' flying up with the bats in the cave and thinking he's one of them. lol
I even put a link to where you could read the comic online but maybe that got my comment deleted? I dunno. lol
^theres 2 threads going for this figure. Your post was probably in the other one.
Ohh lol. I thought I'd done something wrong. Cheers for explaining.

And Jessica sold well because:
A) the justice league vs fatal five movie had her in the spotlight
B) poor distribution
C) low numbers
D) the new body she was on
E) her overall popularity
Sorry if my responses came off as hostile, I can promise you that’s not what I intended.
I've never read the Speeding Bullets comic but I think both of these figures look awesome!
Also nice to finally see both come with gesture hands and fists-- hopefully this is something standard for all figures moving forward.
Are you fucking kidding me
