7″ Scale Action Figure – Ultimate Invisible Man
For the 90th anniversary of Universal’s sci-fi horror film classic, NECA is excited to reveal The Invisible Man in Ultimate action figure form! Starring Claude Rains, 1933’s The Invisible Man was based on the classic H.G. Wells novel and received critical acclaim, eventually being placed on the U.S. National Film Registry for its historical significance. The interchangeable heads capture the seemingly solid wrapped version as well as partially uncovered versions with peeks at the insane emptiness within. Also included are interchangeable wrapped and gloved hands, goggles, nose, notebook, wig, and cup with straw. The figure stands in 7” scale and comes in display-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.
Universal Monsters - Invisible Man and Glow-In-The-Dark Monsters

I really wish they went with the Invisible Mans more iconic look (the dressing gown and googles with no hair), not sure if I should pass on this in hopes of the other version or buy it anyway encase they don't.
He looks great, but I already have the Invisible Man. He's on my shelf right next to Imhotep.

Errrr... at least, I think he is. Or did I pack him up for the move? I don't seem to see him anywhere.
I'd buy Frankenstein by himself, don't really want all 3 so I'll pass. $60 for 3 figures isn't bad though but zero accessories.
GITD Remco was my thing so instant pre order for me.
While yeah, theres no accessories, it's a nice change to see Neca isnt making people pay something comparable to what the original releases were. The way things have been going with toy prices I could envision some company spinning an inflated markup with some "No accessories cause glow in the dark IS the accessory" nonsense.
@dukefett looks like they're available individually as well.

Since I'd be doing photos of Invisible Man not always in his room, it would be weird to have him in his pajamas.
However, more importantly, when can we preorder the lab set-up shown in the pics?
Does the Wolfman have flat feet? I can't imagine they would do a new sculpt for this release, but he's not on his toes in the photos and I don't see a stand in the package.
The Invisible Man with the uncovered mouth makes him look like Ernie.

Ended up pre ordering 2 sets for obvious reasons (something I dont really do, being an opener).
I'm a sucker for GITD ;^)
Really liking that Invisible Man. Been waiting for Neca to reveal it since they announced they had the Universal Monsters licence. I understand why people want his second constume, and hopefully it gets a release some day, but I'm glad they went with this one as it has the various states of undress and the false nose and hair. It's also rarely depicted, the vast majority of IM merchandise has been of the robe.
If you haven't seen the film, I think it's the best made and most coherent of all the Universal monster movies from the 30s. Claude Rains is amazing. Same director as the first two Karloff Frankenstein movies. The original book by H.G. Wells is great too.
