Tamashii Nations has revealed two upcoming releases based on the Lightyear animated film from Pixar. They have revealed a Buzz Lightyear S.H Figuarts, and a Chogokin XL-15 Space Ship. These items are due for release in June. They are general releases, and should be available for pre-order soon.
The S.H. Figuarts Buzz Lightyear figure stands at 5.9″ tall. It will include interchangeable hands, two swap out heads, a jet pack, jet pack deployment parts, Rascal the Racoon, a Laser Blade DX, a Laser Gauntlet strap, and a connector piece for use with Tamashii Stage display stands.The figure is priced at 8,800 Yen (about $69 USD).
The Chogokin XL-15 Space Ship about 9.5″ long, and features diecast metal parts. It includes landing gear, two small scale Buzz Lightyear figures, a small scale Zerg figure, and a flight themed stand. The ship will be priced at 14,300 Yen (about $111 USD).

I was hoping someone would make figures based on the new movie, did not imagine it would be Tamashii Nations. Buzz looks fantastic, and I'm happy to see so many accessories packed in.
The nature of the suit looking more robotic works for them but the joints look very good I have to say. I'm even tempted by the diecast ship.
But man, could you imagine a Zurg to go alongside this? That would be epic.

I'm totally digging the designs of the spaceships in the movie, I saw these Micro-Machine scaled spaceships at Walmart, was going to pick up the whole set but they scanned $20 each! Whoa! Going to have wait for clearance.
Those Mattel ships are something like $12 at Target.com. In store pricing might be a little higher, as I paid $14 in store.

Mattel has a line of $22 marvel legends style articulated Lightyear movie figures. You'd never know because this site doesn't really cover mattel stuff besides He-Man.
Mattel figures are pretty good but this is other level, as usual.
The ship is AMAZING!
