The BAF is probably Atrocitus.
Definitely up for Kyle and Atrocitus. From what I remember of the story, Deathstorm was one of the better designs while Batman and Superman were a bit meh.
Same. Deathstorm could be cool too. I guess this is the replacement for the Metals creepy stuff since that's almost done.
Kyle is sooooooo bought. My all time favorite Lantern!
I can't say I want any of them but I'd love to get an Atrocitus. Probably my favorite modern addition to Green Lantern comics.
I have 0 problem going with Kyle.......but man I can't remember if he was actually involved in Blackest Night in a meaningful way. Pretty much if you never died or wore a different ring color, you were irrelevant.
Deathstorm - Could you please make a regular Jason Firestorm. That way you can make a Ronnie one for those other fans? I also prefer the Deathstorm look here to the CSA Deathstorm.
Batman - Yeah 2022 is going to be a lot less Batman figures unless it makes for a great body to headswap. Otherwise it's a "character" that showed for like one page spread and did nothing.
Superman - Definitely would work against Prime Time. Now it's time to talk a new body. It needs new legs. Those lower legs aren't going to cut it. They can't do that Rebirth Superman nonsense they pulled. The figure needs new legs and new arms and a new head. It might need a new torso as the S takes up the whole chest and the lower torso has a design on it. It's not simply a black Superman suit. The Infected body won't cut it.
So without pictures on 3/4 in. If it's all good, I'd get Batman but it would be just to make the BAF.
This is awesome
almost every character didnt get a black ring in the run thats def false. they had to be an already dead character so unless everyone was dead from the start thats wrong . i can't wait for the future state wave and The Dark knights of Steel to end so we can get some figures of that run .
Was so hoping to get Flash. Black Flash was a cool design.
This is actually the purpose of the Black Lantern Batman(whose actually not Bruce but close enough). The Batman lasted like two pages.
Nekron used the heroes connection to Batman to send the black rings after them if they had ever died.
So at this point that's Superman, Wonder Woman, Hal, Barry, Superboy, Green Arrow, Bart Allen, Donna Troy, and Animal Man. Which is why they also become White Lanterns in the same story.
Otherwise, yes you needed to be dead to be brought back(at least body wise).
correct as in they were already dead b4 being brought back to life in the prior runs and not just black rings going to everyone
thank you for the pics i was already looking at to see if your comment was correct or false . It didnt help much as thats exactly what i said w/out elaborating . Next time ill just nod and say what figures should and should not be released and just dislike most of what we get if thats what you are used to ...
this one Seems like a safe bet since pretty much every DC character turned into a Black Lantern in the story.
I was just stating Not Everybody as you stated if that helps you out at all . unless you are correcting yourself you are agreeing .
There also is another Metal and death metal wave coming but not confirmed at the factory yet and it includes the Batmobeast and the joker dragon and a pretty cool batman T rex robot dino and Death Metal Damien so they are kind of spread out like he has been doing lately
Very excited for Kyle and Deathstorm here.

Geez. I picked up three of the old DC Direct version 3 days ago from a local collectible shop.
They don't articulate too well but the sculpt is pretty good. One of the figures has the plastic stink of death after opening the package. It smells something like expired crackers. That's one of the unfortunate drawbacks of buying old figures.

Also what's with the sudden deluge of McF threads with no pics lol.
Why do they need Batman and Superman in a Blackest Night wave?

Listings popped up on some websites. Obviously no pictures yet.
Barring the White Lanterns, it makes sense to go with the Zombie versions of E2 Superman and Firestorm.
Though if it were me, Nekron would certainly be one of the figures. BL Batman would be very low on the pole since again he didn't do anything. DC heavily hyped a character that showed up for a page(especially as we knew Bruce was still alive). E2 Superman also got a unique costume.
This would be perfect to bring out Hal, Barry Allen og costume, each rep from the Yellow/Blue/Orange/Red/Indigo/Star Sapphires......aka a Green Lantern wave. Then you have white Lantern versions of everyone. But I'd focus on the real main characters.
It'd be nice if they used this to get a single release for Hal out there. I'm still waiting for one because I don't want the dumb GL Batman he comes with.
You'd think Black Hand would be a lock and not Kyle Rayner, who could fit in any wave.
Hopefully the BAF is Nekron.
