thought I was finally going to be able to replace my custom Cyborg on the JLA shelf. If this was 2017 I would be all over the movie version (even though what I really wanted is his final form version from the end of the movie)
Magneto looks amazing as always.
Cyborg as expected looks dull and lifeless. I'd be more impressed if a company like MAFEX actually made a Cyborg from the comics.
Well that Magneto is fantastic.
Since I'm not an avid comic book reader, could someone explain / show me what the effect pieces are based off of? Usually Mafex copies these from certain comic panels 1:1.
The force fields around his hands are self-explanatory, that's him doing magnetic manipulation stuff, but what are the fire and ice-looking effects supposed to invoke?
Is the "ice" thing him deflecting a blast with his magnetic shield? And the "fire" the aftermath of him firing a magnetic beam?
YES! Lord Magnus is here! I can finally get rid of all those mediocre Hasbro ones.
I like Magneto a lot, but I would've liked the unmasked expression as a masked option instead of the black one though.
That Magneto is sweet.
Don't know if I'll buy him because I'm pretty happy with my Marvel Legends (Apocalypse BAF) Magneto. But there's no denying this MAFEX figure looks like the best 6" comic Magneto to date.
Both are a pre-order for me! Specially Cyborg! I hope they make the Knightmare Justice League.
This Magneto is a re-release of Mafex's Age of Apocalypse Magneto, but with new head sculpts and effects?
I guess I'll hang with my Mafex AoA Magneto (I like the funky pigtails and am not into Magneto enough for both figures at $80).
Now... if for accessories Mafex provided, say, a new set of Wolverine claws "warped" like Magneto has done or a warped steel girder to entangle Cyclops with...
Magneto...
Magneto Sweet.....
Real Sweet ;^)
OG Magneto in the house!
