Hasbro sent through word that another Walgreen’s exclusive Marvel Legends figure is now available. Binary now has an online order page and copies will also be showing up in retail stores in limited quantities soon. Retail is $22.99 and seems to be shipping now. I recently grabbed Quasar like this and he shipped immediately. Hit Walgreens.com here to grab your copy, good luck!

Just got an email that the Binary shipped. That was fast.
Thank you so much! Ordered Binary!!!

She was my most wanted out of the newer Walgreens releases because I'm most familiar with Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers as Binary through X-Men and New Mutants around the Brood, Shi'ar, Starjammers era. Glad to be able to add her to the collection!
I skipped Quasar, I had a few opportunities to buy him but ultimately decided against it due to other priorities... He does look neat. Unfortunately I missed Nova. I really didn't want to miss out on Binary so thanks again
Out of stock. Screw you, Walgreens and your impossible to find exclusives. I give up. Been collecting this line and others like it for almost 20 years and collecting as an adult for almost 35 (and as a kid for close to 50) but no more. Time to get a manly hobby and blend in with the stupids. It's been fun.
I’m pretty sure the Walgreens app is being a smartass.
So many of the figures have not been stocked, and on some websites they post fake pre-orders to scalp more money. Like the countries problems generally, there's only so much that can be blamed on Covid, especially when it seems that their choices are really to blame all along. The Hasbropulse website is horrid too. Army builder indeed when it immediately goes out of stock & is never restocked! Sure great making the Hellfire Club & a Sentinel that actually looks the way it's supposed to, yet will we ever have a real chance at that without jumping thru significant hoops & pricetags?! Will they ever come back in any form more fans can get?
Quality also has dipped, while prices have risen yet again. Fans are saying "no," rightly so. Amazon is now showing the latest pre-orders back at the $22.99 mark (altho claiming it's a deal from the $24.99). I hope that fans continue to give them the middle finger in what way we can until quality & reasonable pricing returns. Do not give them money right away, definitely don't pay scalpers exorbitant prices on recent figures that they scalped for the sole purpose of screwing people over.

And Walgreens just decided to focus on other things besides toys for awhile for reasons (most of which probably boil down to toys are not a top priority for a pharmacy chain). But toys are slowly coming back.

Why is it that Hasbro can’t deliver anything on time but DC Multiverse figures don’t seem to be effected by the “pandemic” or supply chain trouble? McFarlane has been releasing everything on time or early since this all kicked off. Hasbro offers nothing but excuses. Todd just delivers toys.

And to be honest, McFarlane doesn't really seem as trouble free as you paint it as, either. They've kept product on the shelves, but once you dig deeper past all the various Batman variants and the other pegwarmers, they haven't been nearly as plentiful as it would appear (and that's still with like only a third of the product versus Marvel Legends). I suppose they have kept prices down, I'll give you that, but given what's actually what you get in the box I'd argue that wasn't possible without some sacrifice.
^There seems to be a bit of recency bias, both positively and negatively, at play here. I've seen numerous complaints as of late that Hasbro is delivering ahead of schedule creating problems for collectors that aren't ready for PO charges. (they possibly should have budgeted better: the income isn't exactly disposable if you're grousing about early arrivals and some review of buying habits might be in order) Additionally, it wasn't long ago that I was reading complaints about McFar's distribution issues, but that's been largely forgotten in light of the current embarrassment of riches.
In a nutshell - "MEH" people say shit that fits their narrative of the moment.

Even GI Joe, lucky to get anything good, while the the figs for the movie I don't even know where it is to watch, are still so much on the shelf they're practically falling off.
There are so many obvious things they could be doing for the fans, too. Like where's more D&D stuff? Dr'zzt was great. & there's dumb things they do like the latest Walmart exclusive Dr. Strange would be perfect except for some reason they decided suddenly his cape should be fused to his chest?
Why are u coming up with excuses like that? How would you know? Do you work for them? If they had no interest in toys, why are they still getting exclusives?
I can tell you that the newer MacFarlane toys are not well stocked either, at least in my area. I've been waiting for that chair figure that comes with a Lex accessory to show up in my stores, but it has yet to do so. My stores are clogged with Blights, Dr Fates, Peacemakers, Jokers, JLU Flashes, JLU John Stewarts, and many different Batmans that I can't even keep track of anymore.
The newest products I have seen on the shelves have been Comedian Joker, Criminal Joker (no Killing Joke version yet), and Carrie Kelley Robin.

Walgreens has always had issues in this regard, because often times they have too many stores and too many instances of an Ant Man or a Medusa clocking up the shelf space for the SKU at retailer to distribute these things perfectly. It's gotten a little better over the past 5/6 years since they started carrying toys (and doing more much needed clearance sales), but hey, I never saw Moon Knight, either. My Agent Venom I found at a Walgreens about an hour away, and I never saw him again. The Punisher I got already on sale for $10 at the time. I think I only ever saw Sue and Johnny multiple times, Reed a few and the Thing maybe once/twice ever? I saw Emma in store once or twice, Magik a bunch of times, but not Dani who I eventually had to get at BBTS. But, I could have army built yellow Daredevils for days, one store near me sat on like six of him for like four years. You get the picture.
And last year didn't help, everyone everywhere had distribution problems especially for toys. That's definitely not secret insider info, or make believe to get collectors to stop whining, just see like every news site on the internet last year. Actually important stuff got held up by over seas shipping issues, not just our toys, but they all ran some kind of "Toys might be hard to find at Christmas!" puff piece. But anyway, while Target, Walmart, and particularly Amazon found ways to get product like toys for the fourth quarter when they needed them the most (I.E. spent a lot lotta money to make it happen, Amazon bought planes for f'n sake), corporate at Walgreens just said "yeah, nah, we're a pharmacy. We don't need Iron Man, we need vaccines." and just skipped out on a big toy push for Christmas last year. Unfortunately, that meant that the few exclusives they did have last year never really hit anywhere in plentiful numbers. I know Pulse had Transformers Red Alert and that's how I got him, but for whatever reason they didn't carry the ML exclusives like Nova. No one really knows why that was, it's just how it is. But it seems like this year is going to be a little better. Not perfect, though, but Walgreens is at least acting like they're going to stock their toys again.
Also the army builders do come back into stock, otherwise I wouldn't have any of them. Outside of a couple Hand Ninjas, I've missed the preorder window on all of them. All the other ones I've picked up were when they showed up under "Back In Stock". Still haven't seen the Skrulls pop back up yet, but they're the only other ones I'm after right now. Maybe more SHIELD agents, too, I bought one pack but now I kinda want more... The point is just keep checking back (but don't hound the customer service staff for answers as to when because they don't know! They're there for help fixing orders and credit card issues, they don't control distribution.)
